Who here has something they miss from the builds of old? The Marauder class tanks, I'm sure. Some miss the old HP scaling with level. Personally, I've just recently realized the Experimental Rifle is dead and gone. Anyone else have something we should put on the Wall of the Lost?

Also, I just remembered we used to get points for both repairing and damaging vehicles. We lost the repair points because of Booster buttmunches, but the HAV Damage (+15) or MCC Damage (+20) disappeared with no real explanation. Gave AV rewards for deterring the Tanks, gave the tanks the ability to give points out without dying. |

You did say things we missed, you didn't say anything about them not being game-breaking lol and yeah all the old maps, just for some variety, I know we've got all this funky socket system now but can't they just throw some of the old basic ones back into rotation for now ?

Edit : I also miss the majority having comms, or at least having it active to hear what was going on and not individual squads of 4 or 6 talking to each other with no clue what the rest of the team is doing or planning.
I hope they can get Craterlake to work with the Socketed system, although I don't see why it wouldn't when the only part of CL that is equivalent to the sockets here was the Biomass/Communications section at the end. As far as I know turrets are preset, unless the rail turret hidden behind half of the Manus C sockets is added intentionally to those sockets :c
Yea, remember when DShips with missiles were enough to send even Marauders off with soiled fuses :3 |

For those not in the know, the MCC used to have lower resistances. A defending team of Forge heavies could end a match in about three minutes. not AV weapons , AV instalations , the rail gun instalation to be correct , it was the best against MCC AV installation is still a weapon tho :c I so sowwy T-T |

To go in depth, the Experimental Rifle had bullet drop over distance, and I think it used an explosive charge rather than a bullet to compensate players who decided to use it. I'm hoping they reinstate it as the Minmatar Sniper Rifle, as giant explosive doom slugs is right up their alley :D |

i miss the laser rifles. although i never used them, they were something to be feared. God, I miss both of those things, I used to end up backtracking as fast as I could, cursing into the mike when that happened, and you couldn't get angry because the heavy+HMG was built for that engagement range. A good heavy could mow through an entire squad if he was good enough, you can still do it now but it's much much harder, not to mention all the proto suits you have to know through. And I really miss the chrome laser's, IMO barring the viziams broken damage they were near perfect, I used to use the standard LR with sharpshooter 3 (I had the elm but didn't see the pint in using it), with good positioning I could lock down an entire area, need to stop reddots crossing from A to B on MP? I'll just sit up on that rock spire with a good field of fire, anyone lacking cover or who was too slow was going down. I used to love duelling with viziam users, that's another thing I miss, the LR duels of the last couple of weeks in chromosome. The amount of times I took down a proto using a viziam was huge, and I got a huge rush of satisfaction every single time, good times.
I've only been in a few laser duels in this build, and all were so weak in their craft. Thanks to the respec i only have Lvl 1 LR Ops, and a STD Laser Rifle mounted on a STD Minny Assault. Never lost a Laser Duel with that fit :v. I miss when it was a challenge for me. Not to toot my own horn, I'm an average player all around, but I excel at LRs :3 laser Pointers UNITE!
