Indeed OP i can agree with alot of what you said..... broken game is a broken game...
and there are very valid reasons DUST and EVE are not fully connected yet...... majority of eve players consider DUST to be a broken game.....
EVE does not want DUST to fully connect / intertwine with them in dust 514's current state.
the hardcore eve playerbase will go APE sheot if CCP even tried!!!
do not expect CCP to admit it but it is sad but true..... if eve was cool with the way things are looking for dust.
we would be connected 100% allready...... ccp has a little more free reign with dust being that its a FTP game.
but go read the eve forums you will see what i am saying.... are eve players elietist jerks??? oh hell yea.
but trust me until the eve community says ok ccp we are ready. no " TRUE" Connection with eve will happen.
and thats money. you can take it to the bank. |

Sounds like you want EZ mode for you because you don't want to put the effort to spec into anything. Specing into proto nades is worth it a thousand times over. You also played Ambush during an event that has people trying to win as many matches as they can as fast as they can, sounds like you were on the wrong side of a pubstomp, which usually ends up with spawning into fire. |

- I still have no sense of what I am fighting for... I just jump in a game and shoot people, there is no factional warfare or anything which gives me a roleplay reason to fight since I am not a corp member. The EvE universe isn't present here at all.
- I cannot try any new things as specialising into EG - the forge gun will require weaponary level V which as a casual gamer I cannot expend...
- Matchmaking is still awful, I know CCP are aiming to 'fix' it, but right now I am getting put in games where we lose like 10 deaths to 80 deaths, with the other team having 4 tanks.
- The animations are half-broken, IE - when I press the melee, it has a really clunky robotic 'jump' and feels like only 3 frames were inserted to it.
- AV grenades are still useless against vehicles, and speccing into forge guns and swarm launchers is unviable as I have to dedicate a whole class to it and by the time I change, the vehicle has either gone or I encounter someone with an ordinary weapon and I die.
I know this will probably look like a wall of complaints, but that is what I genuinely think of this game... 1.4 and 1.5 do nothing to address these issues so far, and the lack of content only worsens the issue. I appreciate that your doing adorable little adjustments like adding a recent updates tab, adjusting the HUD, giving the laser rifle a red dot sight, giving corps the ability to tax... but that is NOT WHAT THE GAME NEEDS RIGHT NOW. Those are little petty things which should only come once the game is finished. CCP, you need to add the rest of the content and then begin balancing and tweaking. There's no point in adding new content 1 by 1 and then balancing them. All of the problems I listed above give the game the low ratings it has been getting, the low ratings are not because of the lack of the EVE connection, no one really cares about that in an MMOFPS. I appreciate that this is early days, but you should not have rushed for release so quickly, there was no advantage of doing it before the PS4 came out. I've played Planetside 2 and despite having like 5 FPS on my PC, it was instantly a better game, I will definitely play on it on the PS4, and it is better simply because it is finished and there is a real factional warfare feel to it, rather than being plopped into a random battle for some random corporation. Please consider fixing these issues before implementing any more irrelevant updates. Couldn't you have waited 3 more days? |

I think you need to build your arguments better. Some valid thoughts, but then you go and pile up a ton of garbage over them. Or maybe we just see things differently.
You belittle things like a better corp structure and taxation when comparing them to the 'huge broken things' like lol-who-gives-a-dam melee animation. |

I have to agree here, AV grenades scare the bejessuz out of me as a vehicle operator to the point I run away from infantry chasing me.
As an AV soldier, they're typically my bread and butter crutch. |

The scenario is that I threw three AV grenades and it didn't kill the tank, don't ask me why.

Yes you can, did you read what I said? I am talking in terms that they can EASILY try another build with millions of SP to spare, whereas the casual gamer will probably have about 500,000 SP to spare. I know people with triple my SP, and they are better than me because of it and they have the freedom to adapt to any other build. |

The spawn system has greatly improved during the past three months alone. Zerg rushes are less common in ambush and getting killed when spawning is not as problematic as it use to. Well sorry to report but I just spawned within 10 metres of an enemy 3 times, on top of an enemy drop uplink once, and got instantly killed by a precision strike.

I assume you mean that 1.4 will fix 'everything' magically? Nope, it won't. Matchmaking will not be 'fixed', it can't be because that isn't the underlying problem, the problem is SP difference.

That is what I experienced and what I am reporting, I am not using proto AV grenades, I'm taking such an issue from a newbie's perspective.
