Wolfman just made a post recently about not touching the Mass Driver until they gather enough data after 1.4, even with all the threads all over the place with people yelling about it being OP. I don't think there's any need to worry.

Could it be you want to spam your MD in CQC with even greater efficiency by removing the ranged weapons which can counter you?

Not to mention all the masses of things that have been requested repeatedly since closed beta 9 months ago and longer that have never been implemented and constant requests for respecs, PVE, racial dropsuits, rollover SP cap, etc. etc. etc. CCP are professional game developers all with lots of experience in making games and I'd reckon less than half of their decisions are even remotely impacted on by the forums. Just go look at the CPM activity reports to see how much attention is paid to even the most CCP-respected players.
