St. Bernardus Abt 12 - You can thank me later. Best beer I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. You may need to visit a specialist store to locate it.
Newcastle Brown Ale - My usual fare. Decent beer you can find anywhere even Walmart. Highly recommended in cooking chilies or any recipe that requires a dark beer. |

Two other recommendations:
Duvel - Top %5 of beers IMO. Easier to find at places like Trader Joes or Bevmo.
Chimay Grande R+¬serve - Entry level Trappist Ale(A Trappist beer is a beer brewed by or under control of Trappist monks.) you can easily find at places like Trader Joes and Bevmo. St Bernardus is superior in every respect, but costs more $$$ and is harder to locate a bottle. Trappist Ales are VERY potent(as strong as wine in some cases) so be careful if you drink a whole bottle. |

A white beer from Germany: Valentins
Very fruity. I've tried many beers and that one is my favorite.
We have a lot of microbrewery here in Qu+¬bec and they do good stuff!
The Chimay are really good with complex flavors. I like the Blue one. |

Nice choice with the Newcastle. Try Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Blue Moon |

Did somebody mention Blue Moon?
A good substitute for Coronas is LandShark
Almost time for the special winter brews...Blue Moon's Winter Abbey Ale is delicious
And I can't forget about Yuengling...love a good lager |

Tried something new tonight. Murphy's Irish Stout is damned good. If you like Guinness then you owe it to yourself to give this one a try too. -BURP- |

Sierra Nevada IS very tasty too. I also like Blue Moon. Fun fact: Blue Moon is brewed with coriander which some studies show has anxiety-reduction properties. So feeling anxious? Pop the cap and relax :D |

There's a bar where you can have a milkshake made with this beer.

My apologies. So you're rolling with Keith Stone eh? LOL! Yea man, when you're a college kid, you gotta go for the bangs for the bucks.

Ditto! I mostly drink Jack Daniels these days though but I did have a beer Monday. Saw the movie The World's End and it inspired me to drink.

Luckily i can get that at my local beerhole ( 60 different beers on the menu, oh the joy ) and you are totally right, painfully good!
A couple of my favorites are:
Brew Dog - 9 am Saint Brew Dog - Punk IPA
Anchor Brewing - Humming Ale
La Trappe Puur ( means Pure and is the first Biological Trappist out there )
Old speckled hen.
I'm dutch but i wouldn't use Heineken to water my plants.
Also some of my friends started their own beerbrand so life is good!

I'm incredibly jealous of that statement fyi! Never had it on tap before. I have to go to a special liquor store that carries Trappist Ales. The La Trappe Puur sounds delicious. I will keep my eye out for it.

Jack Daniels Honey and Ginger ale is a nice cup. Aside from that ive drank authentic german beer and it was good. Alc volume was high but still had a good taste |
