I don't know why though. Lasers are great guns for sure, well balanced at the moment, I never thought they needed and Red Dot ADS boost. But the community wanted it I guess.
I still don't think we will see all that many of them particularly when Duvolles can catch you and end you before heat build up gets going, or Tac AR/ Scramblers cut your to pieces with accurate volleys. Not to mention most players trying to get right in the centre of things and rush people with the LR.
TBH all the LR does better than most guns is have a more interesting design and firing method.
Even more so than that it doesn't matter how many of you heretics pick up out Divine Instruments of Cleansing, you will never know the power of the Faithful. God protects and blesses his own, Since Uprising released only one other LR user has killed me and he was an Amarrian to the core.
I will expect to be eating all of the new FoTM LR players alive. LR vets will kill you all. |

With the viziam and tripple damage mods you could allmost insta kill heavys. And where they stand was only a puddle of melted metal. No doubt the viziam from the old days was crazy if you keep in mind that you could kill 6 people+ with 1 ongoing beam from it. But nowdays the lasers just suck. Its hard to tell but the clunky iron sights are not really helpfull hitting somebody. And the only advantage you get to get the proto is that you can shot a little bit longer.
At least now it takes a couple of seconds and most (70+%) of a clip and even then you may or may not even get that sucker. |
