Honestly the radius is too big, that need no skill to hit an ennemy with the MD, the rest the weapon us fine but the radius need to be nerfed |

The best way to do is like wolfman said, waiting to see the new hit detection before making a change to see how new hit detection can impact in the game |

But the point is that its needs to be watched. I wouldnt be surprised if CCP broke the normal hit detection even more in their process of making explosive hit detection work properly. They helped a lot explosive hit detection in 1.3, 1.4 is for gun so gun will be helped with the new hit detection and wolfman want to see how that can impact on the MD before making a nerf of anykind |

It's a situational weapon, and sometimes the situation really favors lots of MD's. I'm sure there are other situations where a squad of MD's would be a poor choice, such as attacking uphill. I wouldn't give that squad much of a chance to capture Objective A on Manus Peak. A couple AR's on the objective would mow them down before they got close.
MD's are the shark attacks of DUST. You may be mowed down time and time again by AR's and snipers and you shrug your shoulders and forget about it, but the one time you are pounded to next week by a bunch of MD's you remember it. The damage is fine, the clip size is fine, the range is fine, in my opinion curently only the radius is a problem since you cant miss a shot even if you are bad with it, that make the MD a noobtool currently, with a nerf on the splash, only who are good with the MD still continue to use it has intended |

Not my intention to insult you but im a MD user since close beta, the MD was underpower sometimes true, in chrome MD haved good radius and good damage due to the fact other weapon haved the possibility to shoot 40% more far than now, so in uprising they nerfed the damage and splash for this, that was suppose to be fine but the gun haved hit detection issue they fixed it but they added splash radius in this same time, the splash buff was unnecessery because they fixed the hit detection, now they have to do a nerf on the radius to be fair
EDIT: hope they bring back the smoke effect that was a usefull tactic |

Dont worry the gun will not change before they see the impact on the MD of the new hit detection in 1.4 |
