As I only fear there tribal nature will get the better of them I spark a war that will spread to the rest of us.

Unofficially I suppose I would say that the Templar Crusaders of PIE Inc will abide by whatever decision the Empress decrees.

My stance is very similar to that of Aritcio Kor-Azor. I am not convinced that launching a full scale Reclaiming now would be in our best interest, but alas I do not have all the details and I put my full faith in the Empress's decision. |

Personally I am not Loyal to the Empire I try to find the best way to make money. My question to you steadyhand is that if the amarr win would your life be complete. Would your job as a immortal solider be complete. |

We all do.
But there will always be those corrupted by the deceiver, this we cannot change. All we can do is for the greatest Empire under Gods benevolent gaze. |

This would be funny were it not for the tragic consequences. Were you men of conscience, it would be one thing. However I only see programming, rote responses to simulate a human being. Your mentality is anti-conscience. There is no little voice to cry out "Stop! This is wrong!" because you've shut out any voice that is not that of the dogma, even your own. |

If you had ever spent time amongst the Amarr which I assure myself you haven't from that woefully uneducated statement you would find the Amarr are just as human as any of the other peoples of New Eden, while chosen of God we do no condemn nor discourage individualism, creativity, social and political discourse.
We may live in an Imperial state, and we may believe in our God. It makes us have no more of less of a conscience than any other person. If anything it means that our creed is more conscience oriented because in all things we do we consider God's words. |

Modify a person's understanding of the world enough, and you modify that person's sense of morality, Ms. McClintock. These templars may or may not be "men of conscience," but if they were it would probably change very little.
They may as well occupy a different universe from ours. Their god most likely does not exist, but they will dependably act as though he did. The only point in holding this against them is to try to persuade them that conversion by force is counterproductive-- which, however, they have vast experience to contradict. They've been very successful in converting those they've conquered, given enough time.
Thus, probably, the best means you have for dissuading them from their course is to persuade them that a military solution is no longer a viable path.
This will probably have to be done by stopping an invasion. Good luck to you.
Regardless, there is very little point in cursing them for who they are and what they have been taught to believe. You may as well curse the rain for being wet. |
