In the EVE universe, I'm sure flares are ANCIENT technology...a short EMP burst would be more in line with the lore. |

Function =/= term.
"Flare" meaning "a way to get those dang rockets to stop tracking me."
Not that there aren't ways to do that now. Maybe a way to knock 2 of the 4-6 missiles from connecting (you know, besides any given building or hill in the map)?
Really, dropships are pretty hard to hit with swarms anyway, given the pilot isn't totally new to the game. |
