reasoning:
LAV and HAV already fill the spectrum of ground craft effectively...MAV would add more fire power to the foray, but i feel that it would be a confusing role, not a tank, not fast, so what would it bring?
Heavy Aircraft would be sexy! I think they will likely be slow moving weapons platforms, they will need much bigger maps than even light aircraft.
Light Aircraft afaik will function in the same manner as dropships but presumably suffer less from the weight induced momentum of drop ships. This will make them extremely fun to play, highly mobile so that even if fragile, they will reward skill and foresight.
MTACs may or may not be able to travel inside many of the buildings. They will provide tank for infantry units, and they will alter the face of infantry engagements. I will go out on a limb and hope that AV systems like swarms will target MTACs, the ability to field an MTAC will make roles like the Amarr logi swarm fit precious and common at the same time. MTAC will force diversity onto the battlefields.

In the Dust universe we have Dropships, HAVS and LAVS. I think the dropships need landing tripods to land on rough planet surfaces but having a space fighter attack ship would be a awesome new vehicle and a merc air assault drone that could be used to counter attack mercenaries who like to camp on high ground those would be some awesome vehicles and tools to use in battle. |
