I think I saw a dev response that mentioned that scouts will not be getting any more speed increases, and I can't image the others getting a speed decrease despite the fact that it would have the same effect. |

I definitely agree they need more speed, and some more hacking speed and CPU/PG isn't a bad idea either, and they might still even need cloaking. I'm just suggesting one more possibility that could help scouts, while also adding some more depth to the game as a whole.
If I was going to take anything from the list it would be the second equipment slot, yes it is in fact our role, our low hp prevents us from operating as front line medics, and in a slayer focused game with scouts having low alpha damage outside of 5 meters, having beta scouts that are more equipment focus is a must. |

There are only two successful scout builds and they mirror each other and both are based on crackling gameplay. KinCat Shotgunners and Kincat Nova Knifers, both can find success after 5k more in sp sinking than assaults but it is literally just crackling gameplay, which can be achieved with minmatar or low slot focused medium suits. Those of us who have gotten bored as playing as cracklings wish to have a little more diversity in successful strategies, and this is coming from a former shottie who has gotten bored with the weapon.
Plus you have been copying and pasting that same quote over and over, if your friends are as good as you say, I could use a trouncing then and learn from their greatness, give me their names and I'll keep an eye out. |
