However vehicles are sometimes a good means to get somewhere safe, out of the line of fire when you're low on health. What would you think to those turret-less seats (maybe turreted ones too) giving a small armor repair rate (or shield aswell) quickening their exit if that's their purpose for entering and providing you with some triage points for giving them repairs.
It shouldn't be too much repair, or it'd be taking away from the logistics role, but it could be a small hp boost to their dropsuits regen and provide the driver with some wp in exchange for a short term safe haven.
What you think ? NO That blueberry is already in there since I called it in and he has no intention of leaving. He spent ZERO SP, ZERO ISK, and gives ZERO ***** about my tank. Small gunners are nothing but an annoyance currently with the horrible small turret hit detecton and inability to lock your vehicle. The fact that CCP just started looking into locks just made me lose even more faith in their ability to listen to player feedback. Seconded |

Do you tank at all? Because if not, you don't know what you're talking about. |

Pvt Numnutz wrote:Random game, good dropship map. Call in my assault dropship. Notice half the team afking in the MCC. Fly up in that bay door and one random jumps in my dropship. Proceed to the nearest hive of reds and give homie a good angle, then pin down most of their team at the clone vat.
small group of soldiers actually fighting uses newly provided fire support to push the position. Team mates gun down those that got trapped with out reinforcements. Bravo hacked, swarms come in. Ground team has taken up a good defensive position. Pull out of the area and go to outer points. drop blue on the point and stay in area to cover. D hacked, homie jumps back into the dropship move to other outer point gun down all defenders and drop blue again.
Kill a few while blue hacks, E hacked. 3 reds managed to spawn, land in between reds and homie blue taking fire while he gets into the dropship. Lift up and kill all 3 then proceed to city to lay down some much needed cover fire for ground forces at B. Help retain defensive position. D hacked by a red, Fly back out take out red and destroy hostile LAV.
The second we stop giving people a chance to jump into our tanks/dropships/LAV's is the second all those people who say tankers only want to solo, dropships want to be gunships, and LAV's murder taxis are right. Ted you are a veteran tanker, instead of moping you should be educating blues about the power of tanks, if not through experience then through example. Bring two buddies along and show blues how to properly use the guns and mobility of a tank to the teams advantage.
I'm very happy CCP has been spending their time working on actual content and features rather than making people who play rambo tank happy. I'll still kill your tank with my two gunners and my front gun, and you will wonder why an assault dropship killed you so fast. LOL
You'll kill MLT tanks like that. |

The point is to eliminate blue berrys free riding in my tank. I could care less if that blueberry has a good match cause he got in my tank and walked away from his tv because i will try my best to stay alive because I put my money into the tank. He put nothing and has no care if we die or if the tank survives. I really hope I don't have to let them ride in my tank at all. All this could have been fixed and not even worried about if we could just que in matches with our corp and not even have to deal with playing with scrub blueberrys soo selfish What's selfish about not wanting idiots taking up spots for squad mates with mics that know how to use the turrets effectively? If some red scrub is next to me firing swarms, and I have an idiot blue berry in my tank, he jumps out and runs away. |

Xender17 wrote:As a gunnlogi driver the worst thing in the world is when I'm on fire. If a blueberry is in my HAV it means my HAV is already dead. I get out to rep it because I don't want to lose it. But the turret guy switches seats to take it away. They just took... and went to the enemy camp thinking HAVs are gods because his locus grenade can't damage it. Like the little COD fish he is... It dies in 2 secs because people who only drive LAVs most likely have no concept of mods. I never stay in the fight if a random is in my tank. I'd rather die in it alone, than knowing some gigantic, monumental waste of space could've jumped out and possibly saved my tank. |

The seats should be removed with the guns, and if they aren't then half the reason a tanker removes them goes out the window. I'm also of the opinion that the Gunners should be visible and therefore can be shot out of their seats, as the front gunner can occasionally be when you ram an LAV. Ok, then I want the tank driver to also be visible and therefore can be shot out of their seats What good is a tank if the operator can be shot out? Terrible idea. |

Can you not have builds without the gunner turrets unequipped for scrub pubs?
Like, I have some jerkoff builds that I sacrifice a grenade or sidearm for - just to squeeze in stacked Complex KinCatz and stacked Complex Shields with a GEK.
Not trolling. Curious.
Try taking the small turrets off a Sica/Soma and see what the game tells you. |

The Robot Devil wrote:Locking yes but no to kicking. I think kicking a merc out would lead to farming. A random jumps into an HAV, the pilot drives to their corp mates on the opposite team and kicks them out for free kills. Or the blue dot could skill into tanks themselves, instead of trying to screw me over. |
