Actually, the Gatsun Forge gun is by far THE BEST officer weapon i've had my hands on. (Second being CALAs SMG and third being KRIN's AR)
IT does MORE damage than the Proto ASSAULT. Charges in only 2 seconds (Without tanking into account the BONUSES you get from each FG level) AND you can hold the charge.
MAn i've only used it once and it was glorious, went 17-1 in an open map, happiness ended with a Charged Sniper rifle to my forehead.....but still, that was 17-1 in less than 5 minutes left in the game,with enemies red lined.... |

I want to see a PC match where one or both teams are entirely gastuns. Maybe a few MinnyLogi for Nanohive support. |

I'm quite certain that the name isn't from the dev team.
Instead, you can find it, and a number of other officer names, in the Chronicles section - I think 'Stranded' covers them. |

still dont have a gatsun mg since the mays respec i have all other officer guns but not the dam officer gatsun mg  dammit ccp let me have 1 already! |

Unfortunately for me, I started may 6th the day the skill tree came out, and in almost 4 months of gameplay I have recieved only 3 baloc's ar's and 3 krin's ar's...also only have 3 gastun's hmg's.
Im pretty sick tbh every time I hear someone say, *oh I got 60 of those*, its bs and totally unfair to myself and every other new player who started after they nerfed the salvage.
Ccp I dont see how you think this is right, if they was playing before me yea they should have more, but a stock pile of em while I have so few that im afraid to try one. ( Messed up ). |

I've got 90 gastuns, i don't use em that often, but man are they the ****.
Got most in this build actually, I had like 30-40 when uprising hit, and got like 50-60 since, just luck. I seemed to be getting a lot of heavy officer weapons so I went proto FG for AV instead of swarms despite having medium proto suts. |

I believe you, that it is random, just finished a match where my team was proto stomped and I was mad. Then I saw my loot of 3 officer Clara SMG's and I was happy again :) |

Isn't the Officer HMG the 'Krin' version, not Gatsun's? |

Avtually, the Gastun's Forge Gun didn't exist until Uprising when the Salvage was reduced from 10 to 1-3
Which makes it so messed up that I have more Officer Forge Guns than I do any other Officer weapon. And I'm a Sniper so I really want those Thale's, which is the Officer weapon that I've found the fewest of.
Current Officer Weapons: 54 krin's AR, 62 balac's AR, 50 Cala's SMG, 19 Wolfman's Scrambler pistol (I've lost like 20 of them), 54 Gastun's HGM, 60 Gastun's Forge Guns, 4 Thale's Sniper Rifle (out of 33 ever). Still waiting on those Officer class Dropsuits they said they were going to introduce and never did and the officer version of the mass driver and shotgun which were never proposed. |

I got 39 units of 'Gastun' Forge Guns that I don't even use because... well... I'm a ninja knifer. But once the secondary market finally opens up, I'll be willing to sell them for 10 million ISK a piece. XD |
