Has CCP given any thought to Heavy Air Vehicles?

We have so far seen every single vehicle to some capacity yet not heard a single word about heavy air vehicle types. We've seen Jets, MAVs, bikers, racial variants of every current vehicle. art work for all of this and some talk about how they'll operate. Even MTACs have been recognized to a small degree but there is one vehicle type missing from all plans it seems. Why so mysterious?

The are known as militia Dropships, The only problem is that they come with minimum armor and shield but they handle like an heavy air Vehicle.

Do tanks dominate now? The reason for Jets not being in was "Maps are too small, they move too fast for small maps". Well, a Heavy Air vehicle would be huge and slow. I hardly see it dominating anything other than the attention of every single AV capable player on the field (AKA everyone).

A heavy Dropship will get hit by every Swarm, FG and Turret on the field and die a little bit slower than current dropships.

They could make the heavy aircraft fly itself in and keep the RDV the same.

They could make the heavy aircraft fly itself in and keep the RDV the same. oh god... i can see it killing itself before it lands.. that is just scary.

I don't think you realize the potential of a railgun that sits high up in the sky. It would be OP to say the least, regardless of the amount of priority it receives from AV. Frankly, it would just hurt tanks more to release these gunships.

Drop down take a shot, get hammered by AV then fly away. No different that current redline tanks.

I think it'd be slick if we could get some kind of heavy gunship with dual Light turrets on fixed mounts for the pilot, and a Medium turret underneath for a gunner.

Dropship says medium but its currently the lightest of all vehicles, even LAV. So there must be some type of medium gun ship, and then a heavy gunship with respective turrets.
