Supposedly one EvE player has managed to figure it out but was forced into secrecy. Unless it gets figured out by the community at large then we may never know. Best bet would be to look through Chronicles and the books. |

I partially came up with something earlier by going back through Templar One. One of the things that got me was there are five races with the Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, Minmatar and the Jove. However, there are only four known ancient races listed of the Sleepers, Takmahl, Talocan and the Yan Jung. So if the Sleepers are ancient Jovians then who are the descendents of the other three ancients? |

So the Sleepers are early Jove, Architect faction. On top of that they are cloned. Now the Jove disease is caused evidently by errors in their code from the thousands upon thousands of years of genetic manipulation.

Unfortunately, I don't see it. Since the Jovian Disease appears to be mental and not related to tumors, or the organs that the protein in part has a hand in. It'd have to be something in the brain. |
