I have been using the LR since they were released, but I've noticed something this build. Sure the sight is crap, but where did all the other Laser Rifles go? I've only seen two other people using them, and they may have been the same guy for all I know. Anyone else use the LR? Or plan to after the new sights? |

I definitely will be once they change the sights. I used it in Chromosome ( just the STD one don't freak out at me ) and loved it. I really enjoy the unigue way they work... So much fun.

I hope they reduce the heat build up just slightly enough so it doesn't overheat if you miss for second though. |

Once they increase ADS speed you should see more of them. Main problem is not sights is how slow they track targets. Can't use that without Amarr assault suit skill at max so they're even more rare. I mean overheat at 40 ammo makes them too weak and I'd say useless.

In any case yeah I see few Lasers and I like that, it means I have my niche, people don't ***** and moan about lasers, and I can cut them in half in a second or two. That and laser duelling this build is way more interesting than it was in Chromosome. |

Not even bro. I was using the LR with the Standard Medium Frame and still kicking ass, and the sight they are about to put on the laser will goddamn ruin the gun. |

The maps aren't laser friendly. The laser has an optimal range of about 65 - 75m. Considering that most of the places are either a lot shorter or a lot longer than this. It is not practical.
That said, I got the ELM today. Have not done much with It. |

Buff the laser, make the range 30-90m. |

For a long time in Uprising I've been using a standard Laser Rifle on a non-Amarr Assault suit with no damage mods, as bare bone laser rifling as you can get, and I thought it was fine. I actually like the iron sights, though I know I'm in the minority. Also don't think the ADS speed needs to be increased (my sensitivity has been increased to 70 though so maybe that's why?), I've never had a problem tracking my targets when firing at the optimal distance. I remain extremely weary of any buffs to the laser rifle because I honestly think it is plenty balanced as it is right now. Hopefully the changes in Uprising 1.4 don't break it. |

Ashland, Line Harvest, and Manus Peak, and Spine Crescent are amazing with the laser rifle. Iron Delta and Skim Junction not so much because they focus so much on the outpost which is generally a tight area, but it still good at defending from the main entrances. |
