You need to calm the spazzy out, I didnt say the update was a nerf, but to me it doesnt sound like a buff either, increasing ROF (we will see how that works out with the lock on increase) at the expense of ammo sounds like a crap trade off. If your running SL you will know your never rapid firing at a blaster HAV or hitting red line HAV consecutively as they pull behind a hill or whatever and it takes time and attrition to get anywhere with them. If anything this update will make smoking LLAV a tad easier, but any good HAV will still be in the SAME situation as before. Also gone are the days of smoking a CRU when your bored, they said nothing how the ammo will affect nano clusters, I guess we just get shafted on that account too. Funny how this ROF change plays into the hands of active HAV module changes, but I guess your QQ clouded your vision on that one. FG are way more powerful than SL, they arent getting shafted out of the deal, this whole update reeks of a stealth change to make SL deal with LAV/DS and let the FG terrorise as before. Ive put my sp into proto SL I can tell you from experiance it isnt the end all weapon HAV running bitches like to make out. Oh yea your 13yo rant is rather amusing dude. Somebody that absolutely cannot imagine themselves in the pilot's seat.

The tankers i see they do the best when im around are ones calles Frost Byte and the other one has a long a** name like: NINJAROBOT....... and more words. Weird dude.But he went 35+ kills in 2 skirmish matches in a row , no deaths. Other team probably had MLT swarms, maybe one MLT forge gun, and sounds like the guy was using a buffered Gunnlogi. Not the same as using a Madrugar against PRO swarms. |

I swear, assaults want the railgun to be no better than a sniper rifle, blaster no better than a GEK, and missile turrets no better than the mass driver.
We don't have homing turrets either. AV has the swarm and AV grenades. Both are devastating to armor. Forge guns have a +10% bonus against armor, too. Why, I don't have a clue.
What good is a tank if one idiot with Lai Dai can destroy it from full health in a few seconds? |

Honestly If a tank gets solod by AV nades he is either unaware of the situation or simply has bad luck. You need to get close to spam AV nades that puts you on high risk and if the tanker recognizes you you are dead. If someone sits on a hive spamming AV nades he has either succesfully sneaked up to or set a trap in both cases he deserves the kill. Also the Lai Dai is a proto AV nade it should be able to kill std and adv gear. BUT I am a bit unsure wether I like the effectiveness of AV nades or not. On one hand they are high risk high reward but beeing more effective as the other AV options seems not right. I just had some jerk crash a dropship in my red line to kill me, then he tried hacking the Gunnlogi I had called in. Thankfully he died quickly due to the redline timer.

The overall DPS stays on par, due to the reload between shots 3 and 4. Used to be you could fire 5 shots before reloading, now it's max 3. The only thing they're doing is fixing the re-lock time, which has been horribly screwed up for ages now. LOL How is it a nerf getting all your rounds out faster? From the first volley hit, in 4 seconds, PRO swarms have launched ~7000 damage at a tank.
If given the choice of slower firing, with longer lock times and 5 volleys before reloading, or fast firing, extremely fast lock times and 3 volleys before reloading, I'll take the second choice every time, because if I want to destroy that tank, I need to get enough damage out fast enough.
That's what everybody wants to do. Solo a tank, rather than take it out with teamwork. |

Pair a fast/sneaky infantry unit that can get in range for the AV nades with an FG/SLer and see what you can do. GTFO |
