LOL they're dealing ~7000 damage in 4 seconds within the first volley hitting. You call that a nerf? They're doing that because you can't switch weapons, or whatever the hell else after letting off a volley. So what do they do? You need to calm the spazzy out, I didnt say the update was a nerf, but to me it doesnt sound like a buff either, increasing ROF (we will see how that works out with the lock on increase) at the expense of ammo sounds like a crap trade off.
If your running SL you will know your never rapid firing at a blaster HAV or hitting red line HAV consecutively as they pull behind a hill or whatever and it takes time and attrition to get anywhere with them.
If anything this update will make smoking LLAV a tad easier, but any good HAV will still be in the SAME situation as before. Also gone are the days of smoking a CRU when your bored, they said nothing how the ammo will affect nano clusters, I guess we just get shafted on that account too. Funny how this ROF change plays into the hands of active HAV module changes, but I guess your QQ clouded your vision on that one.
FG are way more powerful than SL, they arent getting shafted out of the deal, this whole update reeks of a stealth change to make SL deal with LAV/DS and let the FG terrorise as before. Ive put my sp into proto SL I can tell you from experiance it isnt the end all weapon HAV running bitches like to make out.

Somebody that absolutely cannot imagine themselves in the pilot's seat. I want to get offline, but I'll give you a Madrugar to try out. Right now. So you can see what it's like going up against PRO AV.
Firstly your missing the point, PRO AV should do a number on a Madrugar, its on a different tech level, secondly how does your maddy do against, say, Dren swarm launchers? I dont imagine you lose sleep over that ****, think thats balanced? You think your maddy and some dude with a std SL is on an even keel?
You started this thread because of the change to SL, but arguing about weapons on different tiers (and in your example) is silly, because maddys die easier to SL that is by design. Hell i would compromise with ya, give SL a shield dmg buff and nerf its exp damage and **** maybe were both happy. |

Anybody that has gone dedicated AV has about the survivability of a militia scout, when facing infantry.
If AV has to work together, so do tankers. Though, with the option to remove small turrets, I only see tankers working mire selfishly.
Meh, I run solo as well. Started running a squad of 6 vehicle users. You sure you want us to work together?
