We simply took Cronos' farm from them and our leaders were kind and generous enough to donate Oddelulf III as a playground for everyone. Imagine all the isk we could have farmed from a 24 districts planet. ... Again, you want to blame anyone for Eon having most of MH, blame Cronos, because we took it from them. You know what? I'm bored, so I'll just correct some inaccuracies in your post. You can keep ignoring the facts as you please, I don't really care, but as much as you make fun of the "european version" of what happened, yours is not all that accurate.
Fact #1: Yes, Cronos took more land than other alliances did at the initial land grab. And then proceeded to fight for and procure more. Districts were lost, districts were conquered and districts were traded for, so saying (or at the very least implying) Cronos bought most of Molten Heath on day 1 and then proceeded to sit on it for months until EoN finally decided and managed to take it all away is just plain silly.
Fact #2: EoN was not the only one to attack and win districts from Cronos. For instance, during some of the busiest times of the Eon v. Cronos war, Negative Feedback was also launching attacks against Cronos. Whether this was coordinated or not is irrelevant, fact stands that Cronos was fighting (and, yes, loosing districts to) two alliances simultaneously, not just one. The difference is, N-F tended to sell off most districts they conquered, whereas EoN seemed to mostly just add to their empire...
Fact #3: Cronos also held a large chunk of Oddelulf III, and was in fact actively finding corporations to donate those districts to when EoN was still speaking of selling theirs. EoN definitely was not the only one to support the idea of Planet Fight Club, and EoN most certainly didn't make it happen alone.
Fact #4: The last large loss to Cronos's hold on Molten Heath happened when SI "went into hibernation" and gave away or sold off the 30-or-so districts it was still holding at that point. While EoN quite possibly owns a large number of those districts at the moment, it didn't take them, at least not from Cronos.
I could go on, but even more bored now. Facts are boring, aren't they? |
