It's the generic footsoldier fit. People choose it because it's the one setup that even a newberry will understand.

You do have a very good point. Dont get me wrong I absolutely love my gallente proto like no other. But scout suites are clearly the next level if not the true pro level in this game. Its an entirely different mind set requiring more skill, reflexes and planning.

If this game ever gets a legit nova knife league ide perma scout prolly.

Also pistols and any other 1 shot weapon are incredibly hard to use.

So Nope I'm not boring in my "Medium" suit which have Gods Power. (I can't make Wine with water but i promess a day i'll can ! )

If we had some way of trying the different dropsuits out before speccing into stuff then maybe we would have more variety on the battlefield.

Maybe the addition of the training mode CCP want to release will fix this.

And to the inevitable answer to this post... yes proto is the only gear worth running to me. Why would I play in a weak std light frame when I have a decked out proto frame? I'll run adv weapons, but the power differential in dropsuits is enormous, and it makes running anything thats not a proto suit pointless to me.
