When I saw this I was expecting them to fill the remaining missing dropsuit and weapon slots and perhaps finally open the market.
But what do they do? ... they add one new 'research facility' map type and some other maps and fix some random issues which didn't really need fixing.
CCP, what is the actual point in dedicating your early patches to balancing the game when more than half of the content including weaponry and dropsuits aren't even in the Goddamn game?
When this game finally fills the content gaps, CCP will definitely start a new stream of balancing patches to make them fit properly, rendering balancing patches right now more or less useless. For all we know - the assault rifle could end up being the weakest weapon out of the new weapons, forcing CCP to balance that out and dedicate dozens of patches to finishing their game.
If you read this, please just add the rest of the content before balancing... I appreciate that you're adding these new maps but to be honest I don't even care about the maps or look at them really. I would rather this game were finished and playable and on an upward state instead of balancing the small myriad of weapons which are here, when there are clearly dozens more to come.
1.5 itself looks like a vehicle rebalancing patch entirely, I doubt they will add anything else alongside this rebalance. But aren't there supposed to be yet more vehicles to come? Aren't there meant to be 12 vehicles in total, one for every race including one LAV, HAV and MCC? What is the actual point in rebalancing them when we've clearly got 9 more vehicles to be added. And don't patronise me by saying they will possibly add more vehicles in the patch - they won't...
There is a reason this game has attained poor reviews, CCP should bring this game back to beta immediately and actually finish adding all of the content before dedicating post-release patches to rebalancing.
