@XERO
1. It's $15 per month. Not $30.
2. They deliver what they promise, but only in stages and they just take a long time to finally deliver what they promised.
3. If you don't like this game, then please play some other game and come back in the next 6 months when more monthly updates have been established.
EDIT
?????
XERO's post just disappeared. It was post #2. Now my post is Post #2. WTF??? |

I just don't see it as overpowered anymore. The experience that I had with the glitch completely altered my perception on what could make a nova knife overpowered. As I said, it only compliments the nova knives, not enhance it. The damage dealt in a given time frame is still the same and the sprint speed of whichever suit and kin cats you fitted is not affected by it either.
I have also noticed that for every kill I get with the sprint/charge glitch, the vast majority of the kill is still the result of player skill.
I have to anticipate my target's next move. Not all heavies are afraid of me. Them proto bears are badass I tell ya. Shotgunners still win against me 95% of the time. The other 5% was just luck. If I miss the initial strike, which is like 50% of the time, it still devolves into a dance of dance. Sprint/charging still doesn't help with surviving a pack of assaults and logis when you turn a corner unless that pack is really, really stupid. Strafing is helping me more than the sprint/charge. Since strafing will get a slight nerf next update, I'll have to rethink my zig-zag tactics.
I still die badly even today and so far I am not seeing that many knifers running around. But I do see plenty of melee super-punchers out there and those dudes scare me almost as much as the shotgunners.
By the way, I experimented with the knives to see if the melee glitch can affect the knives. It doesn't. In fact, the knives can't even deal any damage because of the constant alternating of pressing the sprint button and the charge button. It will just interrupt the knives making it look like I'm having a seizure.
EDIT:
About those guys losing their suits to a knife, anyone who let's an enemy get that close to them with a knife in a gun game deserves to lose their suit. |
