For those of you who don't know, I wrote a couple of threads hypothesizing what the stats of suits we don't currently have could be, like the Gal heavy, Cal heavy, Min heavy, Amarr scout, and Cal scout. So I figured, screw it, I'll try it out on tanks as well. The concept I use is based off of dropsuit statistics, so obviously you won't be able to the following stats verbatim, but I'll approximate the math and see what we find. I don't have my game open, by the way, so my math will be based off of memory.
Before I give you the numbers, let me throw out that tanks currently suffer/benefit from tiericide, meaning they don't go from STD to ADV to PRO like all of our suits, but rather go from MLT to STD, then specialize into respective roles(this is kind of bad for HAVs at the moment since there is only one specialization available, but from my past time in beta, I happen to know Black Ops HAVs and Marauders are two specializations that were removed for re-balancing, and will hopefully be re-seeded in the future). Frankly, suits should follow the same system, but that is another topic for another time. The only reason I brought this up is because I am not going to hypothesize stats for ADV or PRO tanks, because if CCP is smart, those will never be released, just new specializations to choose from.
Amarr STD HAV, let's call it the "Ark," just because why not. Roughly 2800 shields Roughly 3000 Armor Shield regen rate: ??? 3 high slots 3 low slots Roughly 16% more PG than Gunnlogi or Madrugar Roughly 20% more CPU than Gunnlogi or Madrugar Slowest vehicle movement speed 2 small turret slots, one heavy turret slot Enforcer has less eHP, more PG/CPU, one extra low slot, specialty bonus likely laser turret damage increase
Minmatar STD HAV, let's call it the "Junkyard Dog," because I'm writing this thread and I like that name. Roughly 2500 shields Roughly 2200 armor Shield regen. rate: ??? 3 high slots 4 low slots Roughly 6% more CPU than Gunnlogi/Madrugar Roughly 10% more CPU than Gunnlogi/Madrugar Fastest vehicle movement speed(?) 3 small turret slots/1 medium turret slot, 1 heavy turret slot Enforcer has less eHP, more CPU/PG, one more high slot, specialty bonus likely auto-cannon damage increase
I don't have a large knowledge of vehicles pre-chromosome, because I never used them before that build, but I believe the Marauder HAV specialty bonus was damage, which will probably be changed to a survival bonus if or when they are re-seeded. I have no remembrance of the Black Ops HAV specialty bonus, if a tanker vet wants to fill in that blank, I'd be glad to guess what the Minnie/Amarr equivalents would be.
These numbers are not representative of the models that CCP have in place, and I have no knowledge if these approximated models come even close. I have to say that because there seemed to be confusion in my previous threads about my supposedly being CCP Logibro. No. Just no.

Nah, it is the same basic idea though, Amarr with a greater total eHP and less mod slots, and Minmatar with less eHP, some wildcard advantage, and balanced mod slots. |
