WTF! Where/When did a Dev say they were removing the LLAV? i've tried to read all of the updates on 1.4 and 1.5 and i've not seen this mentioned in any of them.
seriously, if you have a link i'd be grateful. i've speced into LLAV, but don't use it at all really (it's too expensive for blueberry's to just steal it, n i am not a murder taxi driver, i actually shoot people), so i wouldn't mind the refund. but i'd still be amazed if they removed the vehicles all together. |

What will happen is that LAVs will become bases for fittings, and you can fit them and use skills to make them used however you want. For instance, if you want to use a remote repair on a vehicle you have to skill into that to do it. If you want your LAV to be fast, you have to skill into that. If you want your LAV to have a ton of resistance or health but no turret you can do that too.
And yes this is mentioned in wolfman's post about the vehicle changes. It doesn't say specifically that they are removing Logi/Scout LAVs, but that they are removing vehicle specializations.

thanks for the clarification. in that case, i'd hope they give me back the SP spent on the Logi LAV then. (and really, any other Skills spent on LAV's since they are fundamentally changing the way the class is used) |
