Yup, I'm doing one, again. But it is a decent one:
AV: Get rid of PROTO and ADV AV, and keep the ADV. That seems fair enough, as 1 Really good person with Adv. AV can down a vehicle, but 2-3 should take it down if they work together well. Also, change AV grenades to Stasis Web Grenades with a small homing (say a 10 meter homing range, and a 20m traveling distance for homing traveling at 50m/s) feature, and slows anything inside of the blast radius by X % over time, say 10-20 seconds. Lastly, change the Swarm adjustment by giving it a longer lock on time, as it is already short as is, and the delay time buff made spamming swarms even easier.
Dropshps: These things need a 15% increase in tank across the board. Now, after that, leave the T I DS as is. Now, For Logi DS's, they need a (keep on reading, as I will explain. I just don't have a name for it.) super module. What it does is for 30 seconds to a minute, it can get a pretty high resistance, a decent scanner with a short radius (10-20 meters), but decreases the speed and acceleration of them by 30%. This would make the Logi Dropship a good hot-spot drop in DS. Also, make it's CRU a Reverse CRU. For the Assault DS, give it a module that during it's time, impossible to overheat it's guns, and it's ROF goes up by 25%, as well as extending their optimal and max range by X%. Lastly, get rid of the Bomber DS idea. just no.
HAV: Keep the T I HAV's as is, and Bring back the Marauders with the speed of the enforcers, and a modified siege module. Make it a 1-2 minute run time with a 2-5 minute cooldown; It should give the tanks main tank a 35-50% resistance, and a 10% damage increase, as well as increasing our repair rate on local repairers by 20%, but reducing the tracking speed by 10-25%, and killing our speed by 75-100%. Now, Bring back the Black Ops HAV as well, and make the reverse CRU work on it, as well as the cloak, and make them faster than they were before.. Finally, get rid of the Enforcers, as they are useless for the most part; a glass cannon tank makes no sense. And the only useful one that would work is the Falchion if Large Missiles worked well against infantry.
LAV: Keep the T I one as is; reduce the acceleration and speed of the LLV's slightly, as well as making the special infantry rep Work like a modified Triage module, slowing it by 50%, and reducing the damage from the turret by 50%, but increasing it's rep power by 25-50%. Lastly, Make the SLAV have a slightly higher base eHP (200-400), and give it a built in "Probe scanner". What it does is launch probes in a 50-75 M3 area in a spherical shape that scans down the area to find anything hostile in the area. The trick is, they will stay active even if you leave the area, and you can move them around the map at a max of 1-2 km. If you go further than the max range, or run out of time, they will return. They are destructible, and if destroyed, a 50% longer delay for the module to cooldown.
Adjust how you see fit. I just took numbers off of how I think would be good from the fits I have (yes, both AV fits and vehicle fits).
Peace, Aizen |

lolwut
Adv. is enough to effectively kill vehicles. I solo vehicles using adv Av all the time( PROTO is just overkill imo). By removing the major problem of vehicles, but keeping a high enough damage potential for the skilled players not to use help if they try, it'll be balanced. Remember, the only vehicle that can easily escape form AV is LAV, and to some extent DS and HAV's (but they have to be near cover already, and running) and with stasis, none of them could run, which makes the fighting easier for the AV'ers. |

You know it's true right now. I can easily be a escape driver in my Limbus without even trying, unless like 6 people is after me. |

Well, if I remember correctly, what they were supposed to do is give a instant respawn, and if you were needed on the other side of the map fast, you could hop in, and it would teleport you another CRU, but without killing you. |

Read the entire thing. LAV's are the only one's that can escape from PROTO AV period. DS's and HAV's have to be almost out the door. I was saying with these changes, they all would have to stay and fight or die. |

You must be thinking of another game ... I've never heard of anything like that talked about for DUST.
Reverse-CRU's are a old item that was built into the HAV, kinda like the how the CRU's are in Logi DS's now. It was a early CB thing,so I wouldn't expect you to remember or know about it. Just so you know, the HAv's names were Kubera (Gallente) and Chakram (Caldari), and they were matte black with red headlights. |

Needless Sacermendor wrote:You've edited your OP now ... so why do you want to get rid of standard AV !?
in fact, why do you want to get rid of proto AV when vehicles are being reworked soon and that rework can take into consideration the different levels of AV ?
It goes with my idea. honestly, if they do this instead of buffing our tank overall, it would work better. vehicle stomps against bluedots and scrubs with AR's are going to become more common that way, but this way, it'll be about the same, just eaiser to profit for pilots, which reminds me........ |

1: Many people has forgotten about it. I am starting to forget the stats on it myself. I can't remember what was the CPU/PG on it, or it's speeds.
2: Not many people was in the CB during that time, and many of them has left, so it's only a few of us left. |

I was talking to Blam! on IRC one day, and he told me what I said in my idea: it was supposed to be a insta spawning, and quick respawning machine, but it never worked. Hence the removal. Also, there was talks of a cloak built in as well, which would be sweet in my eyes. |

He's assuming that you weren't here for early closed beta. Ahh then he's an ASSuming type is he !? Those HAVs he talks about were the Black Ops HAVs that had a built in Cloaking Device that was never introduced into the game and were very short lived on the marketplace.
Well, I explained of the Black Ops HAV's before the DS part, so if you knew anything about the Black Ops HAV's you would know that. I think you're #2, and is trying to be slick about it. |

Since you claim to be a vet, how many wipes were there? |

I remember exactly what I had before breakfest. and there was a complaint on the fourms becasue of the resets, even though we got like 30-50k SP a match lol |

Black Ops HAVs having a mobileCRU built in was an afterthought after the cloak was abandoned early on ... Black Ops ships in Eve have the ability to fit Covert Ops cloaking devices, so a Black Ops HAV would be in a similar vein ... the CRU was just thrown on there to make it different ... there was nothing unusual about it, it was just a CRU but built into the hull.
You must be misinformed, or is #2 after all..... Or just paid no attention at all to them at the time. Still think you're #2. |

I remember Heavies n HMG made up 90% of players n Skirmish 1.0 n I was the second maxed out Surya in E3 long before everyone realised the Sagaris was the better option, I forget the name, but I jumped in his Surya one day n it was god-mode so I skilled it an dominated for ages before the Sagaris' started kickin our asses ... then I switched to Swarm SMG to hunt them, back when SMG could range an AR n had loads of fun hunting the likes of (damn I've got a bad memory) IWS was one n Noc Tempre, but who was the main tanker back then ? Anyway I still pretty much do the same, flaylock was fun for a while and I've diversified into logistics too, but I still primary Swarm SMG on my Amarr logi suit :-)
That ws a glitch. Nevermind. Anyways, I got a Suyra like a week after E3 Build, and maxed it out a month later. You sure about that? |

I started to effectively solo vehicles with adv. AV right after chromosome dropped, and it varies, I've snuck up on Void once and threw ADV sleek AV nades at him from afar to weaken him, then fired off like 4-6 shots from my SL. popped him, and got a response shortly afterward saying "damn that was fast", or something like that. |
