Turret installations need fifty different kinds of buff before you give them limited ammo. Furthermore, they can't move. What happens when they run dry? LAV or HAV can drive over to a Depot, but the Installations are... installed. |

If there were ways to call in to replace turrets? Maaaaaaaybe you can start having that conversation. But as they stand now? Why would you ever think to nerf them in any way? |

Turrets and Tanks are both fine, no need to limit ammo. Many other FPS are able to allow those types of utilities to have unlimited ammo while infantry has limited ammo. All while still finding a way to balance their games. |

When they run out of ammo, they could selfdestruct. And replacement dropped down... Ok? |

So the installed units, which don't have any mobility whatsoever and are weaker than tanks in every way in SPITE of that, need to be nerfed farther. You make NO sense. |

Yes they may be weaker but have much higher rendering distance anf if they had unlimited amo what would stop folks from hiding in the redline and spamming like they do now. |

Or turrets give HAVs' main turret the same ammo that they have while keeping unlimited ammo. That way there is more reason for them to be defended/attacked...? Blaster turret > blaster ammo Rail turret > rail ammo
etc.
And deployable small turret mounts would be interesting btw.
All small turrets could be heavy weapons, but usable only when mounted. Mounts could be carried in equipment slots so you'd need a medium/light suit + heavy to use a mount. |

Will this thing of finite ammo last long? I personally do not agree with limited ammo, my tank cost a capital, i have overheat, i don't want to count my bullets, i want to shoot the MCC with the blues in my little turrets if i want.
CCP Wolfman wrote: THE GOAL Make vehicles fun.
But the only thing i read is this:
CCP Wolfman wrote:Turrets will now have finite ammunition. Vehicle vs. vehicle combat generally boils down to two vehicles parked opposite one another firing until someone pops. This is not fun. Finite ammunition allows us to make turrets more powerful while preventing them from being a constant threat; spam a target and eventually you will run out of ammo. Now i'm asking, is it not fun to blow up another tank? The best tank/tactic wins, did some tanker ever request to have finite ammo? |

Heavy suits cost alot, as do HMGs. They have overheat. Should they have infinite ammo too?
Also, if you can't kill an enemy tank with a reasonable number of shots, if you NEED infinite ammo to down another tank, what the hell kind of pilot are you, besides one with no aim? |

Nobody ask for the limited ammo, also AVers has agreed with a buff on HAVs and they nerf our offense, i don't want higher fire power if it cost us our infinite ammo. |
