Been saying this for a long time to gamers. Your words, whether positive or negative, affect the developers. Take some consideration in how you express yourself with developers. I'm not saying to kiss butt, but at the same time, no need to go into some tirade and respond with hostility. After all, we are in this together. |

Your Absolut End wrote:Well, psychoterror can totally ruin a life and thats for sure, everybody who claims this is wrong doesn't know about what they are talking.
But now comes the big but(t): if ccp and us are a team, why do we rarely get informations and why do we always have to wait for big gaming events to get the big news?i mean its not like most of us check the forums 3 times + a day.
What I do see is that devs and cpms seem to be more active in the last weeks. That a good thing and a step on the right direction, but still just a step.
You cant just blame the community for its behavior. Its not that simple and most people here are just frustrated. I started Dust with open Beta and even in this stage I never really knew what was going on with the dev side, neither I felt heard.
If CCP really wants to avoid problems like OP stated above some things need to change.
We are the playerbase, for sure we are no developers and we just know the consuming Side of video games, but nonetheless we understand and we see problems.
If the community and devs are playing on the same team why do I have to get informations about Dust fm third party sides and not from the official Dust forums? Why do I dont see timetables? A small insight about hot topics for the devs and the feeling that our opinion matters? You want patience? Thats how you earn it.
CCP is always claiming they work so good with their community, and still I cant say this, atleast not since open beta. When I write a huge ass feedback mail to CCP the anseers is like this: " blabla labla we cant use it here, pls go to forums blabla la thank you bla" oh really I should post it on the forums where this feedback will be insta forgotten, discussed and criticised or simply ignored, and I will never know if somebody from CCP actialy reads it or if it got noticed.
I dont want to sound unfair, and I dont want to say we are innocent. All I am saying is that this community is like a school class which got promised to go on the most exciting trip they ever will have, and right now we are locked in a small cellar with turned of light, and now tell me you wonder why the mood is aggressive...
Its easy to blame somebody alone for a problem, but its hard to admit that this is not such a simple case, things need to change, on both sides.
So you're mad because wrote a huge ass feedback and you got two sentences?? LOL!! And then you're asking a unique developer to follow the code that every other developer follows with, I hope, full knowledge of how CCP develops their games?
And why is it that CCP is more involved within Dust chats than they are forums?
The problem is the majority of you who writes feedback thinks your ideas are completely awesome. Most of the time they are not. They are either short sighted or basically nothing more than adjustments to help you kill more.
I'm pretty sure CCP reads the forums (even though they don't answer your every beckoning and call), it's evident in the Academy changes, implementations of daily log in bonuses, fixes to murder taxi, hit detection, and doing some touching up on the looks.
And what in the world is up with that analogy?? So you're like a school kid who is fretting because the school has postponed their zoo trip?? Sorry but that sounds silly.
How come only a few can understand that what CCP is offering is going to take time. Why can't yall understand that? It's really, really simple to comprehend. |

Lol thats a perfect confirmation for my cellar theory. Dude sorry to say it this harsh but if you dont know what you talk about you better stfu and gtfo. The feedback I wrote was regarding to hitdetection on the single shot SCR, so if I want that every shot who actually is on my target is also hitting my target is a shortview and doesnt make sense in long term, I should quit Dust fast as a lightning lol. I wrote a big lettr with numerous examples, tried to say where the problem might come from and how to change this issue, thats what I call a feedback. You see?better stop living with assumption. And by the way I've never seen a dev in the game. So they are good hidden or I simply neve had the honour to meet pne online on my dail. 3-5 hours sessions in new eden. Sorry man but your attitude is ****** up, i'm not here to get pissed on my leg from people who think they know the mastrplan behind universe, and if I want to complain about something what a company always promisses but where I definatly have the feeling that its not true, even after checking it out for a long term, I will do so, and you don't have the right to say its not true because it IS true. Yes theres a big goal behind Dust and guess what? I know that. But nonetheless theres stuf which needs works. We always had a lack of information going on and if you dont see that you are simply blind. Now take care of your personal BS and dont **** eveybody of who clearly speaks Out is OPINION by stating facts.
No I will not. I will be here long after you gone to burn through the next game you play.
Of course I wouldn't know what you had written, brainchild! Don't be stupid.
My attitude is ****** up?? You not here to get pissed on from people who think they know the masterplan of the universe?
But wait, your attitude is ****** up. You're mad because you had the "masterplan" that didn't get acknowledged
Of course stuff needs work!!! Good lord, go out and find you a woman in which you have to pay for by the hour
You need it...seems like its a dry world over there. You got more hot air than a balloon.
