I don't think the standard respec counter-arguments apply here folks. This isn't like changing the bonus on a suit, or the stats of a weapon. Skill reworks usually involve a reimbursement of the skills changed. OP appears to be sincerely curious, rather than trying to squeeze a respec out of CCP. I could be wrong of course. |

get gud
No offence m8, but you can't be one of the first if you never got a respec. I commend your attitude to the game though. |

Yeahh they fired CCP Blam! because he upset the balance between AV and vehicals and now their redoing the entire procedure from square one. They said "redoing everything from the ground up" so its... almost everything about vehicles and how to kill them. Pretty different than a single skill or a single gun, its everything. So we should be given some respecs right? Theres no telling what will be effective and what wont be after 1.5. Without the respecs youl be placed in ethire boat randomly. Not a very good way to go about changing an entire portion of the game
If the same skills still offer access to the same gear, and all that is changed is their passives as well as general vehicle functionality, then I'd say no respec. But from the sounds of the upcoming changes, they may work with an entirely new set of skills. Hopefully ones that more accurately mirror dropsuit skills. Then they may have no choice but to refund the relevant sp, since the alternative would be for CCP to choose which of the new skills closest represent your previous setup, and spend your points for you. |

I commend your attitude to the game though. simply referring to the lack of respecs throughout the many builds over the past year of Dust, where each build brought with it a reset and a chance to try something new, even though i chose tanks every time
The release of Uprising brought a mandatory respec with it. Surely you noticed? You would have been affected by the incorrectly labelled vehicle engineering skill. There was an optional one after that too. You're certainly a vet if you've been here since closed beta. |
