Do any of the top tier Heavies actually run an HMG predominantly in PC battles in todays build? Or do you find you contribue more with a forge gun, wether it be from an elevated position or running around on the ground with one. I much much prefer HMG over Forge Gun and feel I can accomplish a whole lot more. Forging from the roof is a limited area of denial - but HMG? I can deny anywhere. ;) |

I am not the player I used to be in Chromosome to say the least. I can hold my own in PC, all I am good for now is getting some occasional kills here and there, but more notably I have a lot of SP so I extremely versatile in the match making me fill just about whatever role I need to. But, being a leader of a corporation, your members need you in the battle, it's not the same not having their leaders there cause to a degree I think they get overzealous about the PC and don't perform up to par or putting our numbers they should be doing. Yep.. Kujo is a noob. He's only there for his cheer leading. Much like I'm only there for my quafe suit aka, mascot pump up time in warbarge. :P Confirming this to be true since the exploiter does all the work for them. |

Sometimes I wonder how your still on the "A" team of TeamPlayers, sorry but HighTimes is a way better heavy than you are, on the ground Chicago; your useless. Stay up high with your forge, but even if you do, you will soon find out in order to be in PC, you need a variety of flavors which none are suited for you sadly. You have picked up a lot of talent, I won't question that; at the end of the day, I feel personally that you are holding back your "A" teams true potential. It's very similar to DJINN Punisher, he admitted at times Hellstorms' old "A" team was way past his caliber of play and would sit out of matches against PFBHz because he simply knew he was out classed. Just some food for thought, if you really cared about TP, you would see the light that your heavy is blocking to the rest of your players. As a member of TP who regularly plays in PC matches, you couldn't be more wrong, Cub's contribution to each match is undeniable. TPs is only as good as it is through the leadership and coordination we have as a team. We've got talent sure but we're no better than a lot of players in this game, its simply due to people like cubs and the practice we've had as a team that gets us all the W's that we do. -1 Kujo, Cubs is an undeniable asset to TP and we would be worse off without him. QFT Chicago would beat bigboi, hdtt, and any other heavy you got. But then again Sota could beat them drunk as well. 10 million isk on it in the thunderdome. Not to be mean to heavies with HMG's but it's just about who has more HP I mean strafing isn't too effective with a heavy. Wrong. Our movement is extremely important. Using Armor mods currently at the proto level - even one - can lead to more deaths then you would of otherwise. Shotgunners are just too quick with our turning speed so we need to rely on good leg movement to put us in a position to get the most shots in.
It's tough and takes practice - but it's doable. The best heavy at doing this is BigBoys from AE. |
