Good job getting people to try this game. I always recommend this game to everyone but with a hearty warning. I might try to get a couple friends to play after the 1.4 update.
We as dust fanboys have a duty to promote this game. Too bad they screw us with that terrible recruiter program that is impossible to use because everyone just goes to "the play station store". |

im suprised by how many people are stupid enough not to read things before jumping into something.
It took me two hours to turn my voice chat on and after that everything was gravy. Newberries need a longer time in the acadamy and thats it. If they're too stupid how to figure out fitting and sp then they deserve to be ******. |

If the number of people I saved from quitting was counted towards recruitment... I'd have all of the rewards twice by now. |

Washlee wrote:People say the game is dead. Yesterday I saw a buddy of mine playing dust for the 1st time.
Joined his squad and there was a group of his friends.
They were confused on everything about the game. I played about 4 games with them.
In between each match I tried to explain how to and what
*Spec into guns, dropsuits, equipment, Etc *The different gamemodes *And explanation of all the weapons and different racial dropsuits. *The importance of modules *The different roles in the game. *Corporations
If I never showed them any of these things these guys would of quit before even trying.
They really enjoy the game now because I explained how to play to them.
These guys were telling they were bored of call of duty and all that and were just looking for a game to pass the time until COD:Ghost
But this has been discussed before. Dust does a very poor job of showing people how to play the game and how to do all the deep core mechanics. I know some people that jumped into dust once and never learned how to play because they were confused.
And alot of people when you don't know how to do something they automatically quit. Which is the problem Dust is facing this is a very complicated game that some people won't bother to take the time to learn.
Unlike COD and BF Series they've had sequels and they keep the controls the same each game and most the User interface similar and easy to use.
Dust is like trying to solve rocket science. I think I recall one review stating that this game had the potential to be revolutionary, but only if it launched with "the tutorial to end all tutorials".
Well, it launched, but said tutorial is absent. |

Curious enough that religious folk get a little uncomfortable when two male or female pandas share the same space. |

The ability to respec would go a long way in helping people to learn the ins and outs of the game. Just because you play a certain way in one game, doesn't necessarily mean that you will want to play that way in this game. Trial and error is the way a lot of people learn, especially when it comes to games. |

First time I started a character, I immediately sunk SP into reaching level 5 for dropsuit command...too bad there's no benefit to going past level 3! Ending up deleting the character and starting over |

Atleast they're trying. I don't know how to make video games but I'd be a good supervisor xD |
