-Payouts in matches are determined by the average amount of gear people bring to matches
-Many or most of the rich players now are taking their isk and dumping into PC battles against Eon.
-Eon who manages about 2 Billion isk in clone income each day, is tied up protecting their districts, likely losing just a bit each day that can be made up for in a bit of salvage, but very little biomassed returns.
-PC players are not protostomping in pubs as much risking and losing higher end and more expensive gear.
Once the war is over, I anticipate a much more hesitant pub-match game. Especially, when the scanning changes hit, I wouldn't be surprised it, for a month or so, income levels take a while to get to the point they were before. Low isk reserves will mean low risk levels in pub matches, which means lower returns for everyone. |

You had the right though but a lot of the high profile players have more than 100 mil in reserves. Also to be backed up with Billions of ISK in reserve in the corporation wallet.
The only thing that might change is for the indies that may or may not have had as much money to begin with so this war might be a negative net gain for them. Unless the corporation personally pays the indie player to the point where the expenses aren't hurting his pocket directly he will be hurting after this is over which is good news for absolutely no one. |
