so later on i assume that mercs will be able to travel about the galaxy as they please as eve pilots do, my question is , how will they travel about??
will eve pilots transport them like interstellar hitchhikers and taxi drivers or will there be another way for them to move arond??
Personaly id like to ride inside my friends (or some random guy) ship and be able to walk around and look out his ships windows, even possibly murdered in a gatecamp or something like that. |

u need jump clone skill for that :P
so i suggest get a minmitar vehicle if the exist and simply;y duct tape wings and a bigger engine to it. im sure no 1 in eve will tell the difference with the other minmitar ships.
Word of advice tho I would stay away from hot places like the sun since duct tape is not that heat proof. and i also wouldn't go in a wormhole coz well ull get lost |

How about Genolution offers a new product for mercs? A personal clone pack along with small spacecraft for carrying them around? Clones would be used to stomp the surface of planets, while spacecraft (mini warbarge) awaits on orbit and allows space travel.
The Spacecraft could be seen in EVE Online, just like NPC ships can be seen. And shoot at. Or escorted. At a price.
Or better yet they could be piloted by DUST mercs in real time with a chance to dogfight EVE ships. |

I believe devs already commented on this in the ancient times of closed beta.
If we, or someone friendly to us, has clones on a planet, we just transfer to that clone.
If we can't clone jump to a planet for whatever reason, we need to send a war barge, which we can jump to whenever, there.
I believe these methods are already somewhat used in planetary conquest. |

you'll select on a list of names of places, and then you will watch a loading screen before seeing the name of your location (upper left) change in the merc quarter.

Well, there's shuttles, and we can do NPC shuttles, or caps' who can either let us take a ride or free or with a price. |
