It's meant for a very specific role, and that's the one it's used for, city domination. Where 9.3 sprint, 400+ stamina, 500+ ehp, and 400+ damage a hit along with tons of places to run around corners and such and leave enemy sight small enough you don't have enough time to finish him before he rapid fires 2-5 melee's, and congested enough that getting multiple firing lanes to bring him down before he takes down your whole squad is unlikely at best. When I was showed how to do it I laughed.. I said seriously! I would rather just spam the mass driver vs running around doing that situation OHK. Hell Jumper and I was playing some really decent players when they started doing that crap and I just laughed. Birds of the same feather always flock together.... decent people in general do not play with people that exploit mechanics, even if everyone is able to do it.
That's bloody bullcrap. 9/10 'Pro' communities abuse the hell out of glitches and 'not intended' crap. Super Smash Bros Melee had Wave Dashing, shooters of old had Bunny Hopping and Strafe Sprinting, EVERY 2D fighter EVER evolved from the players screwing with the engine til it broke.
And even after all that, this is blatant cheating. After all, don't many games have a 'cheat' expressly designed to boost melee? And furthermore many players don't understand how the glitch works nor how to do it, and those that do have an unfair advantage over the rest of the playerbase. if this were something INCREDIBLY situational like 'LAVs invulnerable when 50 feet into redline' it wouldn't matter, but this allows people to use free suits to lock down 1/3, 2/5, or 3/3 objectives depending on map design, and that just isn't right.
In short, they are willfully taking the actions to gain an unfair advantage that is not a simple passive screwup on CCPs part like accidentally adding 10 damage a shot to ARs. They deserve to be punished somehow for this. Maybe deduct 1 million SP from them and all their alts, maybe a straight ban, who knows. |

Maybe deduct 1 million SP from them and all their alts, maybe a straight ban, who knows. lol at this rant.... its an EFFING GAME.. oh and its BROKEN... get off your high righteous horse.... "deserve to be punished"... if they were stealing accounts or breaking into CCP and altering the game engine id agree... these glitches, while cheap, are CCPs fault, let them fix it and decide who deserves banning or whatever else....I manage to get throught most games without ever noticing these glitches, I play quite often and they really don't effect me... take some Prozac and relax buddy...
So we should just sit here and NOT call attention to this? We should sit back and accept this? The fact that the game is , in your words, 'BROKEN', we shouldn't complain about its brokenness? This is CCPs fault as much as the Invisibility Glitch people are. There was a method of cheating the system that they were not aware of because they didn't flounder about for weeks trying to break the game in any way possible to garner an advantage. People NEED to see some kind of negative response when they stick their noses into this crap, or else there is no reason for the good players of the game to not turn towards the glitchcheat.
Also, is your keyboard as broken as your whining? You don't need every punctuation to be ellipses. |

For instance, the invisibility glitch. Trying to kill one of those 100% invisible scumbags is near impossible. Even with a squad spamming grenades and mass drivers it was only enough one time to take the cloaked cheater out.
What happened next? Well he just came back, again, invisible, AGAIN.
That takes the fun out of the game. I want challenges I can rise up to. Not impossibilities that can never be overcome. I saw an invisible guy hacking a point once... I just gave him a remote explosive....it made him extra invisible
If you saw him he clearly wasn't invisible enough. Furthermore, he just came back, just as invisible as before, to screw with the rest of your team. |

Just because some people dont know or cant figure out how to do it that doesnt mean its a cheat..... if thats the case then regnum and protoman are cheating because they know how to aim better than 99% of the dust community. You just sound like an idiot if you call it cheating. Call it exploiting a glitch but cheating? No.
It is cheating as much a glitching into the NULL Cannons is cheating. There is no effective counter and the person abusing the glitch is assured at least a 1-1 KDR with minimal losses, maybe even 0 losses due to BPOs, due to utilizing an unintended animations failure. The only reason to defend it is because you depend on it, so please don't tell me the Imperfects have fallen to such low levels. |
