I have not played Dust in a long time, I will gladly pay square monthly. The opening 2 weeks the servers was stressed, but run so smooth now, and the gaming experience is top notch. The are claiming 1 billion in sales the first month.... and with content for release in December already, they are not playing around ... |

I play FFXIV as a Dragoon and am loving it.
However...
I find it funny that Squeenix is using the same model as CCP. The "Ten year plan" model. I don't mind it, I have high hopes for this game. Especially since I'm playing with my irl friends and we plan to start our own FC,
Still, I laugh so hard when I go onto the forums to see all the troll QQ at the huge lack of content in the game; then see FFXIV's fanboys come and defend the game with the "ten year plan" card. It's like I never left Dust to begin with! 
I'm still bummed out at the lack of PvP, but supposedly they're releasing a 4 v 4 PvP arena in the next update along with PvP specific skills. Here's hoping they're good!
Oh, and I'm Couerl server if anyone is interested. |
