Does it matter? We only need to worry about being entertained now, and I can't think of any game I played continuously for five years, much less ten.

Hopefully the game does well over the course of a decade, and all our lives afford us the time and leisure to waste time playing games like this or whatever else they're making in in 2023 (which is when Mickey Mouse enters the public domain, barring more changes - also the time setting for Perfect Dark).

Fact if EVE was developed now instead of when it was it would fail just as bad as Dust, except among the noskilled no talent Gamers that flock to it since it does everything for you.

In 10 years i will be laughing at all of you as i catalog my massive library of games each of which will be light years ahead of anything Dust can ever do.

But they will be playing G.T.A games .

I laugh when people compare this game to Battlefield or any AAA game ....

Star Citizen will not kill EvE since it has to be instanced. Putting several thousand people into one area shooting each other won't work for any twitch game unless you have a super computer that can solve the number of calculations per second needed to even keep up with the input demands.
