You can easily bail out of losing battles to win the challenge, it will just take more time. The real purpose of the challenge of course is to get more people playing. I would wish people would stop spreading the word that not getting 100 wp doesn't count against total battles. All fights are counted against you unless you win and get 100 wp.
This... should have been made clearer earlier. If this is true, which I do not doubt, I'm sure now that I've played all those matches for nothing. And this sucks. ****, so much lost time. ...
With the event people really started pushing for the win. Since I've played most of my matches alone it didn't take long for me to stack so many losses, despite making everything that I could, that I couldn't afford to lose anymore. So I resorted to waiting until making sure I was in the winning side before making 100 WP, from reading the rules I got the impression that his would work. Turns out it doesnt, and I've played well after my cap for ******* nothing. Over... what 60 matches, 70? ... But ok, I got it. I'm a bad liability in my team and I deserve nothing. Ok, I'm cool. I'm pissed off, but I'm cool. I think. ****.
I'm either not giving a **** about this event next week, which isn't very wise because the other team will likely give a **** and I'll have another week having my ass handed to me in which case I'd rather not play and lose my first cap in a good time than not really having fun with those ******* blueberries or I'm just hitting the field with a full squad and top gear I can use. I'm still deciding, 50/50, but man am I pissed. |

Thing is, if the event rules are as described in the Dev Blog then I'm cool. But I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't, this loophole everyone found shouldn't really exist in the first place and I wouldn't mind it. What fucks with me is making me believe that it is possible, thus making me hold my gun till middle of the match or simply accepting defeat without knowing I should be fighting. I believe IWS, I believe I'm screwed, why not? Now I just want someone to ******* edit that DEV BLOG and correct that.
And maybe, just maybe, if my items are there in the Wednesday... It's still a headache that could have been avoided. But they won't be, right? Hope for the worst, do not get disappointed when it happens. |
