CCP, this CANNOT wait until 1.5.
I cannot stress this enough.. YOU CANNOT LEAVE THE FIX FOR THIS UNTIL 1.5!!!
If there is nothing else you can do, and if you cannot hotfix this due to the way you process new content. Then please ban Arirana until 1.5 drops and this exploit is fixed. |

The glitch allows you to melee as fast as you can hit the button.
With two melee mods you get around +140% melee damage. So 110 base dps on cal logi suit x 2.4 = 264 damage per hit, and you can hit around 4 times per second.
You're essentially able to do 1000 dps and melee has aim assist so the moment you even get close to the person they will die.
So you get a cal logi with 2 kin cats and 2 cardiac regulators and you can sprint melee everywhere. Hit detection on sprinting targets in PC is so bad thats its almost impossible to kill him before he can sprint into you.
Since you're using sprint to cancel the animation, you just sprint right up to the person and start hitting. You can't sidestep or anything due to the melee aim assist. |

Set melee damage to 1 until you can fix the glitch. Its sloppy (and temporary) but it would work. |

Maybe not so much a one-hit-kill mechanic but definitely should be a valid option, of which Melee currently isn't.
You don't understand how bad this is.
In a PC match you have to devote almost all of your attention to where Ari is and how to kill him. Most of the team does.
Its so distracting you can't even focus on the other 15 players, or god forbid, taking objectives.
The exploiting of this is far more insidious than it looks on paper or from third person. |
