- Reduce their count to 2, making them harder to spam, and suck up more nanites from Nanohives.
Other games reduce their count for a reason, and its ridiculous that everytime I get one on one with some players they immediately go to cooking their Core.
Its gone from players spamming Contact Nades with 400 Damage and a 6m radius, to players spamming Proto Nades with 600 Damage and a 7.2m radius.
I dont know which one I prefer.
OR
Make Nanohives have a Grenade Counter, so MLT has 1, so it only resupplies one grenade, and then make unique Nanohives that supply a higher amount of grenades, but very little to 0 ammunition. |

How do you guys feel about an alternative similar to contact nades in that the higher the damage, the smaller the blast radius?
I wouldn't mind Contact Nades that do more damage, but you have to hit an enemy for it to explode.
I also remembered, we're not getting Sticky Nades in 1.4.

Those grenades usually have a lower radius or faster fall off.
If you cook a nade perfectly so it explodes next to my face, you deserve the kill, but those people who sit on Nanohives or next to Supply Depots and spam grenades in the direction of the enemy certainly dont deserve the kills. |

The problem is, MDs make a distinct noise when being shot and you can see their projectile pass across your screen.
Half the time the grenade indicator doesn't work, the noise is too quiet to hear, and the only loud noise you hear is when its about to blow, but then you're already dead.
You can hear an MD being shot, you can trace the projectile back to the player with the MD, and you then know to avoid getting into a firefight around that player, because you know it'll resort in death.
I prefer three hit kill MDs (Scout), where their projectile can be seen an traced Vs One hit kill, 7.2m, grenades that can just barely be seen.
Spamming grenades = Worse than MD spam. |

Are you trolling for likes? Maybe reduce the blast radious and damage a bit on the core but other then that nades are fine. Nanohives are also fine. When they fix your scout things will be better for you. I hate how everyone cries nerf to every explosive in the game but if they fixed everything that needs it then who knows if it really needs nerfed.
I'm all for waiting for hit detection fixes.
Maybe then my Shotgun will register Vs The idiots that spam these things.
But hit detection wont fix someone being able to set up camp next to a Depot/Nanohive and spam these things. |

Still think something needs to be done about Nade spam. So far out of 5 matches I've played all but one death has been due to Nade spam.
The reduction wont affect those who use them smartly and cook them when they need them, it will affect those that just spam the **** out of them.
I went up against a Protobear yesterday, got a hit off with my Shottie, it didn't register (Of course), back off down some stairs, all of a sudden the player starts chucking all his nades down the stairs, I made it out, but its become too conveniant to use these things when you're in trouble.
R2 is officially the 'Panic' button it seems.
