i dont get it , some complain they cant keep a madrugar in ambush...
anyway , tanks in ambush is like bringing a knife to a guns fight
like in that indiana jones movie , the guy with the sword all show off then he got shot
in ambush you dont have objectives to hack and protect , a tank becomes a primary target
everyone is free to play how they want and when you dont have to hack/protect and you see a challenge/tank you go for that swarm even if its militia and you are not the only one...

if you have one side with 2 or 3 tanks (and good pilots) and the other side has nobody with a proto or even ADV AV fit your gonna see a tanker do 30+/0. on the other side if you have a team where most have ADV to proto AV and the other team has 1 or 2 great tankers, your gonna have an angry tanker who just lost a mil or more....all the measures and counter measures are in the game, but without anyone needing to adhere to specific roles, you cant gauranty the role you need will be in that match.... its akin to going into a raid in a traditional mmo without a healer or, for that matter.... a tank...

The diffrence is, in that sense the raid would be called and there would be no raid at all because of missing key classes.
Maybe your on the right track and people when queing should specify a role and balance the 2 sides out by allowing a balanced team setup on both sides.
Someone registers a tank, other side is on hold until another tank driver is found...etc |

The main problem is AV needs room to avoid enemy infantry while handling vehicles, but the maps are too cramped in Ambush, so the more AV you spawn directly relates to how quickly your team is going to get curb stomped. |

A bigger TDM would solve the problem, just a bigger map and maybe more people whenever they get around to it. the problem is that right now everyone is kind of trapped in everyone else's field of view. Not much room for snipers to be snipers or a tank to have some space/ |

Lol. Even with proto av grenades and proto swarms, you can't solo a tank? You're a pretty awful player. Love solo'd tanks with packed av grenades and a seen swarm...but that's BC I'm a tanker and I'm smart...smarter than you anyway. Go back to CoD. |

i like it too. when i see anmother tank i can almost gurannte i'll kill it. gott love having all turret/tanking skills maxed. plus i can run on foot with a duvolle/credron breach AR's/ ishukone SR's and now CBR7 swarms. (should upgrade to wykomis shortly)
i can basically handle any threat on the field. just that i do it most effectivley in my madrugar. given thats where my majority SP is in. |
