As they are right now, the maps seem to be leaning towards vehicle users.
Manus Peak comes out 2 out of 5 games and the other few maps we had have been altered so the people playing in open fields and holding objectives outside the ''city areas'' win the game, pushing infantry out into the open, out to where Tanks and snipers excel.
Maps that had 3 objective in a Infantry friendly area and 2 for vehicle and snipers to be a positive support force have been modified. Now the few maps that we had where infantry could do more of a difference have 2 objectives in infantry friendly area , and 3 out in the open.
AND not only, plus out of 10 games i usually get: 2-3 times Manus Peak 2-3 times the Map with 4 Objectives (Line Harvest maybe?) Where LLAVs run rampage every time 1-2 times Ashland (That is by far the most Vehicle-infantry balanced map so far) And the rest are the maps that have 5 objectives and USED to have 3 inside cities but now have 2 inside cities and 3 outside in the open like Skim Junction
And 1 or twice every 20 games i get q freakn map that gives more importance to actual infantry than just Forge gunners/snipers/vehicles.
Where are you going with this CCP?
I AM A FORGE GUNNER , but to be honest my eternal love is and will always be scouts and i enjoy CQC a LOT and infantry vs infantry battles butwith the maps we have you ARE giving advantage to Vehicles and Snipers? Is this on purpose or you just didnt realize that this would happen with maps where vehicles can run free AND have cover while infantry barely does?
FIX THIS CCP.
This is FIRST a FPS and it should NOT be leaned towards vehicles. Or if you wont, then just leave AV,Sniper and Vehicle Skill trees since are the only 3 usable with the maps we have.
WE WANT MORE INFANTRY VS INFANTRY MAPS, NOW. |

Hmm?
Where did the HAV touch you...
It's not a infantry only game guys, it has vehicles and infantry.
There are sections for you to play infantry, and sections where you need to watch for vehicles.
Just stay in the infantry areas. |

Don't chase them, make them chase you, talk to your team tell them to hold ground, most people listen a bit atleast enough to shift the tides of war |

The OP feels like it's more of a Sniper/vehicle game then a true FPS. The areas outside of the cities are a graveyard for infantry and that just really restricts your ability to play. As a scout I rely on corners and obstacles to keep me alive but outside the city there is just....dirt and mountains. How am I supposed to out run all those snipers, rail tanks, instillations, AND LAVs, get to the objective, hack it, AND escape with my life when a single hit from any of those = death and there is no way for me to avoid any of it.
`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST. |

Needs more natural cover, and Scouts needs cloaking. Otherwise, get vehicle support. It's like you guys are saying that pilots should be useless....... |

None of this would be an issue if we had the entire map. The only reason open terrain is so dangerous is because the highest points on the map are always at the redline because all the maps are bowls. |

You've got a good point there. Considuring each map has 2-3 battlefields, giving us the whole map would make things feel more divers. Scouts are fast and all but with THAT much space it would be foolish not to hop in an LAV to get at least part of the way to your target area. The high mountainous areas would be great cover for infantry and Dropships(and snipers) could provide over watch (24v24 FTW). Scouts that spec into speed could run ahead and "Scout" out the area.... man, now I really want this

Some people got me, some didnt.
The most important areas (where most objectives are) in almost every map , are open areas, Prone to Vehicles and snipers. Im not saying is NOT a vehicle and infantry map,but infantry should have priority since its a FPS.
Tanks and snipers OWN 2 of the objectives and provide support for the battle going inside infantry areas, but as it is there is really NO REASON to spec into anything that is not a vehicle / sniper / AV..... |
