Dust 514 is ripping of my great design, original gameplay, brilliant balance, amazing maps and incredible content - said no quality game ever.

Man, with a quality name like that, how can I not love everything you say?

Apparently you can have player names claiming you are a rapist, or promote sexual assualt, violence against children and racial vilification.

However, if you have a name that is a slightly cheeky take on a very common arab phrase it's a no-no.

I mean, I guess no one's allowed to have that as their name anymore, huh?

I'll never understand word filters. In another game, there was a legitimate historical conversation. I tried using Adolf ******'s name, and it censored it.

I guess in the same vein as the "Planetside 2 Bomber" still making posts even now, and Cat Merc - who has actually made several threads of balance suggestions - is now permabanned.

Apparently talking about the game being garbage and how every other game in existence is going to kill it is fine, but being sarcastic occasionally while still making good suggestions is not to be tolerated.

Now I'm trying to remember which game censored 'shoe', 'god', 'damn', 'darn' and 'obscene' while leaving 'prick', 'arse', 'bugger' and 'bastard' unmolested. Phantasy Star Online I think.

The hilarious end result was people could be using tame language but the ambiguity of the censorship made it look as if they were swearing like sailors. I loved it.
