Just because you put 10+ mil sp into tanks and each one costs 1+mil isk, doesn't mean you should be invincible and go 40-0 every match. I do understand that 1+mil isk is alot to be throwing away so I have an idea, keep tanks the way they are but make them only cost 200k. Done. |

Tank beats infantry, infantry beats av (except forge guns they need a nerf against infantry), av beats tanks. |

1. Buff Tank health and resistance.
2. REMOVE INFINITE AMMO FROM TANKS. This is the big one.
3. Create vehicle ammo reply points by the MCC.
4. Allow AV to damage ammunition stocks on tanks
Boom, fixed. Tanks are powerful again without being win buttons. Tank dominance goes down because they'll have to resupply. AV goes from tank busting to pissing them off. Skill on both sides becomes the factor. |

The broken balance is what exactly? Forge guns are a whole other "av" issue, and irrelevant in this entire 'lolswarms' bitching that's going on. (and not even 100% AV since they damage dropsuits too). But swarms and av nades, what way is the balance out of whack? Tanks can easily escape both of these if they play with even a semi amount of wit and situational awareness.
Just like drop suits, having an escape route planned, and not rushing into situations where you're crazy outnumbered will dramatically increase your life expectancy. Having a proto drop suit doesn't mean you'll automatically go 12-1 or 15-0. You need to play smart to stay alive. The same exact line of thought has to start entering these whining tankers' minds. |

A 1/3 price reduction would make the price match the performance i think.
a MLT 175000 ISK tank? now it costs 116.000
A 1 Mil tank? now it costs 660.000

People like me and others want an HAV to be a useful asset to our team if we put the work in to support it, such as using all three turret slots and sticking with a group of infantry. |

Vehicle ammo resupply points are my new jam. Those ludicrous kill streaks from way back when would not have been happening if Tanks had to go back to base to resupply. It's soooo obvious now. If you up their survivability and limit their ammo, tanks would be awesome infantry support, like they're supposed to be. Not god mode for antisocial power gamers. |

SL has the worse scaling and does not fit the normal scaling that everything else in the game has, even other AV. my gripes are rendering, the broke reward system(this is cost vs risk thing here) tank vs tank balance(yea its still there) and the fresh out of the academy complaints because well the academy doesn't teach new players much of anything. forge sniping meh.. annoying and the assault should get toned down from doing that w/o effecting its AV much if at all. |

That's a silly sentiment, bud. Wearing powered armor and bringing a gun is a crutch. Where's the option for running around naked and bashing someone's skull in with a rock?
Tanks are just a weapon, no different from your suit and gun. Their ridiculous flaw is infinite ammunition. All the tank nerfs and buffs for AV stem from this simple conceptual failure: Giving high health AND infinite ammo to HAVS is what turned them into broken killing machines and it's what lead CCP to nerf their survivability into the ground.

Well , me having a 10 million sp tanker account plus my main, King Checkmate with Full AV weaponry i really think this is the best way to balance this situation.
I admit, i dont think tanks are as UP as tankers say, there are games where i can be shooting the whole 15 minutes at a tank and never destroy it. And i use FG and Swarms.... And i play with a friend who plays as F-gunner too....
BUT i do understand that simple mistake being punished by a HUGE loss of money is a little unfair to the tankers AS it is (considering how common AV weapons are now, tahnks to LLAVs), tanks are very potent (this is my opinion) and powerful, but infantry DOES have the means to fight back. The only real issue is the cost of 1 vs the other. One using a 80k weapon on a 150000 dropsuit loadout, and the other on a 1 million tank.
So yea, i say an OVERALL price reduction of 1/3 for everything vehicle related ( Except LLAVs , i hate them) so that the price fully matches the tank's performance. (Even if they have SIMILAR firepower the Tank should cost at least 660k , because it has AT LEAST 6x times the EHP of a heavy...see where im going with this?)

And in a universe where nanites replenish ammo and fix armor as well as modules in EVE itself, manufacturing a tank hull shouldn't be all that expensive. I am sure they are tentative to change prices if they still plan to connect EVE and dust markets but something has to give until they do. |

IDK man when my proto railgun cost 900K and your forge doesn't tip 50K Isk. And your doing more damage theres something wrong with this. |
