I think Se\7eN has done everything possible to play the game "right" and never back down from a fight, no matter who was on the other side. We've probably logged some of the most fights on PFC, always fielding an entire team within our own corp. Even when we were short, we played with what we had instead of bringing in mercs from outside our corp.
Killer Taxi has had some infatuation with us lately. No idea why, but they've attacked us multiple times; we could tell they had the wrong intentions and were trying to take our PFC district. We beat them a couple nights ago, but they attacked again.
The battle tonight was absolutely pathetic, and I'm extremely disappointed in RevoltZ (Team Players) and Espeon Bons (Pure Innocence).
Killer Taxi can't field anywhere near a full team; I think the most they've ever had is 6. So, each time they grab people I don't recognize from corps I've never heard of. Not tonight. They brought in RevoltZ and Espeon Bons. We couldn't kill either of these guys because of strafing, etc., and they led the Killer Taxi team by a long shot.
Espeon went 16-1 with 1972 WPs; Revolt went 33-3 with 1835 WPs. The closest Killer Taxi went 7-5 with 960 WPs.
Of course, Killer Taxi has attacked us again for tomorrow night in order to flip our PFC district.
One of the worst parts--and it shows you who we're dealing with--Killer Taxi had some kid in our pub channel trying to talk smack after the battle, like their actual corporation did anything to win.
I have to say I'm getting sick and tired of all this. I've never been part of a community so screwed up and unwilling to simply play right and fair. And the fact that if you use those two words or do everything to live by those concepts in this game somehow makes you weak, absolutely floors me. |

Honestly there's nothing wrong with bringing in other people as ringers when you need them. Of course if you're doing it over and over and over without proper reason it becomes an issue. Disclaimer: I can say honestly that Foxhound needs to work on it's numbers more but currently it can't be helped too much with the war and the times. But yeah anybody who thinks you're weak for sticking to your corporation's belief is pretty irrelevant unless you ask them. And honestly there's no true concept of what's "fair". Even some glitches would be considered "fair" if the game's mechanics were better off with the glitch. *Shrugs*

I appreciate everyone offering their services; however, I'm very torn on sinking to their level. Part of me wants to teach them a lesson and completely dominate; the other part of me wants to stick to our core beliefs and bring only Se\7eNs, even if that means losing our PFC district.
They have to have their own PC district, though, because they brought in over 100 clones last night to try and flip the district. If they do have their own district, they need it taken away. They can only field 6 of their own guys.
Maybe that's where we use everyone in here. We attack their real district, take it away from them, and then I'll hand it over to whoever wants it. And yes, I know I'm putting this out in public for everyone to see.
If you're interested, join the 7 EC channel. Our game tonight is at 2 EvE.

I also find it very interesting that no one from EoN has commented on two of their own ringing for a corp that's trying to take the first PFC district.
Roy, I don't mind people bringing in ringers; in fact, I fought for that in the PFC rules so that Independents could use each other for help. But when you bring in some guys from elite teams, with the whole intention of taking someone's PFC district, then we have a problem.

i will look into it see right now ppl are abusing the PFC rules using clones from there to atk elsewhere as well. also if killer taxi is on PFC and cant field their own team they shouldnt b on PFC as for 2 ppl ringing ppl are mercs and tbh ppl dont merc properly they just get a paycheck or just lookin for fights and ring they need to ask a few questions that ppl seem to always miss out.
1. Who are we fighting? - this is to know if ur fighting against one of ur own or ppl u shouldnt be fighting against 2. Where are we fighting? - this is to know WHERE cuz there are a couple places where ppl gotta handle their own biz |

After tonight they will hold district 6 on Planet fight club. We have 56 clones left and I know we will lose. Sure we could bring in a full team of the best players but that is not how SE7N operates. However, I strongly encourage that everyone "welcome" them to the club and show them what PFC is all about.
I think SE7N is done with it. The PFC matches have been fun and we enjoyed playing against everyone whether we won or lost, it was still fun. I think its time for us to hit the pubs and relax for awhile and go back to just blowing off steam with the guys rather than competing in an unregulated sport.
To EON: We tried to keep to the rules as best we could, The idea was great but a little hard to get the community on board. It was fun and thanks for the fights and sharing your sandbox with us. |

Killer Taxi needs wiped off PC. Sink to their level? Well I'll be a self righteous monkey's uncle. Step off the pedestal kiddo, they may not have earned the win with hard work but they did win. They only had 2 guys from EON, you are sounding like all EON needs to do is put two guys in to beat your whole team. I wouldn't't go waving that flag around. You are not good, at all, you do not belong in PC.
EON expresses that they want to give indie corps a chance, because everyone deserves one. Now you have seen what it is like and how far you have to go. Worry less about winning in PC under your own power until you have some. |

PFC is supposed to be like a sport...that's why we are there and not in the real PC game...We know we don't belong there...thanks for your input though, it was beneficial to the discussion. |

That really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. From what I understand, PFC only exists due to things like "honor" and "cease fires"... things that come in short supply in New Eden.
Instead of fussing that killer taxi is being "unfair", play the meta game. Use propaganda and get people to hate them. Make it so nobody will want to team up with them. |

...what did you think this post was really all about?...Thanks for educating us in the ways of New Eden and adding meaningful and thoughtful commentary to the discussion. |

These kids have gotten under my skin, and I want blood. :)
Careful now, this logic isn't typically taken well in these parts... I hear in oklahoma they understand this tho... Wait a minute - are you saying 13ear and Regnyum don't make a difference? These guys are small fry - 2 guys with high SP and PC experience would make a big difference - especially if they had mass drivers lol Them guys are good, but 2 players shouldn't make all the difference in the world. We are only men, behind each pixel we are all on human and we bleed like humans. What I am saying is if these guys are not ready for EON then they are not ready for PC. |

This isn't COD or Battlefield. Those games are sports. Dust 515 and EvE are not sportsGÇöthey're war simulations where anything goes and nothing is meant to be fair. If you don't like it, play something else.

Oh, yes, sorry, let me get down off the pedestal; I don't care for heights, any way.
Ah, it's nice to be down among mortals. I mean, I must have no idea what's going on because some Severance person says two people, from elite teams, can't make a difference against a medium to low tiered corp like Se\7eN. It's not like two EoN ringers could ever account for 30% of the WPs, 40% of the kills, and only 6% of the deaths for their scrub team. That's just cooky talk. Seriously, with those numbers, it's like you aren't even part of the team. Slackers.
Yeah, please stop talking, Severance. |

The Se\7eN PFC district has officially fallen. They brought in 120 clones; we had 56. We lost by MCC, but we had 13 clones left and they had 30 something.
Clay, you had another good showing, and Killer Taxi didn't bring in any TeamPlayers this time. They did bring in two Pure Innocence and one Nyain San. Oh, and guess what...just like last match, Killer Taxi couldn't get one of their own guys in the top 3.
I hope everyone welcomes these guys with open arms and has some fun. Please pass the district on to someone that's deserving.
It really has been fun playing everyone, even the matches we got stomped. MSF, we'll have to do the "all militia" battle some other way.
Happy Gaming!!! |

Oh, and please stop with this BS, people. This is not a war simulation. It's not even close. This is a video game. It's meant to be fun, which in turn makes the company more money. If the company makes more money, because people play it because it's fun, the company will put more money into it in order to make it more fun and get more people who will then spend more money.
Even if you want to be dillusional and think this is a war simulation, real war (the thing you're simulating) does have rules. Real war does have a right and fair way, and when people go against that--for example, using chemical weapons--there are consequences.
So, please stop with this stuff; you make yourself sound like a toothless yokel. |
