We've probably logged some of the most fights on PFC, always fielding an entire team within our own corp. Even when we were short, we played with what we had instead of bringing in mercs from outside our corp.
Killer Taxi has had some infatuation with us lately. No idea why, but they've attacked us multiple times; we could tell they had the wrong intentions and were trying to take our PFC district. We beat them a couple nights ago, but they attacked again.
The battle tonight was absolutely pathetic, and I'm extremely disappointed in RevoltZ (Team Players) and Espeon Bons (Pure Innocence).
Killer Taxi can't field anywhere near a full team; I think the most they've ever had is 6. So, each time they grab people I don't recognize from corps I've never heard of. Not tonight. They brought in RevoltZ and Espeon Bons. We couldn't kill either of these guys because of strafing, etc., and they led the Killer Taxi team by a long shot.
Espeon went 16-1 with 1972 WPs; Revolt went 33-3 with 1835 WPs. The closest Killer Taxi went 7-5 with 960 WPs.
Of course, Killer Taxi has attacked us again for tomorrow night in order to flip our PFC district.
One of the worst parts--and it shows you who we're dealing with--Killer Taxi had some kid in our pub channel trying to talk smack after the battle, like their actual corporation did anything to win.
I have to say I'm getting sick and tired of all this. I've never been part of a community so screwed up and unwilling to simply play right and fair. And the fact that if you use those two words or do everything to live by those concepts in this game somehow makes you weak, absolutely floors me.
Honestly there's nothing wrong with bringing in other people as ringers when you need them. Of course if you're doing it over and over and over without proper reason it becomes an issue. Disclaimer: I can say honestly that Foxhound needs to work on it's numbers more but currently it can't be helped too much with the war and the times. But yeah anybody who thinks you're weak for sticking to your corporation's belief is pretty irrelevant unless you ask them. And honestly there's no true concept of what's "fair". Even some glitches would be considered "fair" if the game's mechanics were better off with the glitch. *Shrugs*
Tell the haters "Don't watch me, watch TV." And keep it stepping.
