I have 300 gunlogis and 100 madrugars that will be collecting dust (lol) until 1.5
I hope to god Wolf man compensates for the SL buff with one hell of a tank rehaul. We will need 20,000 EHP to survive on a battlefield where every player with over 6mil SP has at least adv av grenades and proto lolswarms.
Just being honest. These are the darkest days yet for us tankers and pilots. |

I mean, he made a few posts earlier about giving us details on vehicle rebalance next week, but no one has said anything about the Swarm Launcher yet.
Why not allow them to at least say what the goal of the change was and how it fits into everything else before we lose our ****, shall we? |

So a tank should take 12 swarms or AV grenades to take out before hardners, reps or LLAV support, all of which can greatly increase a tanks life span. And this with no particular restriction to number of tanks deployable. Your concept of balance is fascinating. |

Eight shots with an ishikone fg and the tank runs away. Tank if built well are doing ok. Learn to build your kit better. And dont forget the op teamwork that can be had with good tanks and good squads. |

that might be true... but why not leave this change until 1.5?

Tankers won't stop QQing until they are 100% invincible and can dominate the entire match single-handily with no support.
I see many successful tankers in the game right now, and by successful I mean they dominate beyond belief cause they know how to play and they know how to work with their team.
I also run across plenty of tanks that are extremely hard to destroy, so it can be done. |

Tankers will stop complaining when it doesn't cost them 5 matches worth of ISK for a single death.

That has been one of my trains of thought... but no, I'm not convinced there is a method to this particular madness.
Even if that is the game plan, well... refer to point one. It also makes Swarms the premiere AV weapon unless they're bringing all other alternatives up to par when they potentially superbuff vehicles.
Which again begs the question, why Swarm Launchers, why now?
There may be a design here, it sure as hell ain't sensible design though. |

Though buffing them before the vehicle buff seems a little insane to me. Why? |

When it doesn't take 6 games to cover one death, or my tanks can last six games without being destroyed, I'll stop complaining. Until then, I'll be redline sniping with a rail or rooftop camping with MD. |

that's completely false, you do know that right?
perhaps the reason you think that requiring at least 3 people to kill a tank makes us invincible, then that just means your just to stupid to use teamwork in the 1st place. |
