It means that once 1.4 drops that folks that do not bother to pay attention to comms will die.??
It means that folks depending on the minimaps shared info will die.??
It means that folks running ninja fits just got a huge buff i.e. nonaknife users and ninja shotgun users.??
Perhaps now profile dampeners will have a use??
Perhaps precision modules/skills will now have a use??
Goes off to sharpen nova knifes. |

Yeah but shields are going to need two low slots for regulators, one for reppers and that leaves one slot for dampeners.
I am looking at an assault minmatar suit and hmmmmm? Shotgun nova knifes Built in repper. So one complex kin-cat and one complex dampener and very fast movement.
Or hmmmm heavy suit repper kin cat dampener and nova knifes?? hmmmmm
Lots of new options.

And shield tankers are already strapped for CPU. So throwing an extra 20-30 CPU requirement just for being able to sneak around wouldn't seem as good of a payoff as a kincat, stammod, or an armor repairer in that same slot.
Nothing beats being able to sneak around dropping remote explosive "gifts" |

Now if you want to know about that ninja heavy you had better LISTEN when a squad member talks about it.
In other words no more lazy squads...lol.
You want a kill? Work for it.

People will probably want to squad with one person in an LLAV with a scanner equipped. so if you not in a squad you cant see scan results? From the patch notes: * Shared passive scanner vision for squads disabled (results of active scanners are still shared with squads) I'm assuming that this applies to vehicle scanners. So yeah, obviously I haven't seen it for myself but judging by the notes I'd say that only squad mates share active scan results, not teammates.
Why assume that this involves vehicles?
I.e. in 1.3 and before profile dampening and precision skills were borderline useless since all it took was a single redberry using LOS and that was it you were on everybodys enemy tacnet minimap.
Now with passive detection no longer being shared you either need to use squad comms to say hey!! enemy ninja HMG heavy on your six or use an active inantry scanner.
I like the new changes since it validates skill investments in profile dampening and precision.
But then lets see if what we are told in patch notes is really whats going on. |

Logi suits have built in complex rep at proto. Why would you have 2xrep for 90 armour?
I like active reppers plus triage nanohives?? |
