-Wall Text Warning-
Open letter to AEC:
We have to hand it to AEC, you organized and executed an outstanding engagement with EoN. In fact, the first attacks were interesting because you quickly adapted to alliance warfare. Changing strategies and communicating them within yourself to give us a harder fight. Ancient Exiles has singled itself out as the forerunner of the AEC corps leading the attack (in fact, you can find their posts bragging about their wins against EoN).
BUT, let's review the facts from our side of the board and you can get a sneak peak into EoN... AEC launched a hundred (or more) attacks against the Alliance in less than 72 hours. Those numbers have brought back to life veteran-level mercs across EoN, almost every few hours an old merc rejoins Dust to get into the war. Our corp chats/Alliance chats are filled with easily 100-200 PC ready mercs at any given time fighting over ringing opportunities and on standby for their own PC battles.
There is a problem with all of this though, you cannot keep our timers filled forever. Once the indies decide it is not in their best-interest to attack, or go broke from the attacks, there goes a lot of our battles. Then, some of the larger corps will decide it's not good business for them as well and the core corps in AEC will be left holding the "knife" as it were...
Well, you'll have the entirety of EoN Alliance all battle-ready looking for PC and I don't honestly think our leadership will be able to hold us back anymore. They have protected un-affiliated corps to the best of their ability by citing most corps are not a factor or to allow you the chance to grow to our level. EoN leadership has whole-heartedly attempted to foster growth and experience of Indies & start-up corps.... But, you've managed to do what alliances have had trouble doing... So, I'm sure members across EoN will be calling out for PC attacks more regularly and I'm sure the leadership is keeping a nice list of those taking advantage of our blindspots, morality in gaming and abusing the indies of Molden Heath to do their bidding. You sometimes seem to forget we are the giant killers, so I must honestly ask of you--Who are you?
Take your pound of flesh today; we'll even up tomorrow.
