I'm off nova knifing when a wild MD appears with a squad. I manage a kill, but wild MD escapes after killing me.
This happens a few times, kill, kill die by md, kill kill die by md. I get supremely butt-hurt and come back with my assault scrambler, kill him, his friends, and the rest of the team (8 kills, looked like an orbital on the killfeed at the end).
Another time today I was happily nova knifing in the Orbital artillery complex when wild murder taxies appear everywhere. Everyone, their mom and their dogs were murder taxiing and running people over. I was happy to hunt the few not in taxis when again I got the butt-hurt going on after they had retaken the outpost and were running around delta and squishing us. Trying twice to come in only to be magic erased by lavs, I went to mcc and called in my bruiser madrugar. I came screaming into delta and cleaned the crews of all the LAVs and blew up two before the end of the match.
I was nova knifing on spine crescent when I managed to run out of isk after a random lav kill, I was 2/4 close to the beginning after getting run over once and suicide grenading do to invisible hit collision with the objective bouncing my finely cooked grenade back into my face. I swapped to my starter suit and finished the match 18/4.
I was riding around in my LAV on line harvest and spotted a red with my scanner, stopping a few meters behind him to hop out, walk up to him with charged knives and send him back into the spawn. Could of ran him over, but I was against it since I had a bad experience with it earlier ^
Been trying out fits with all of my various advanced suits and gear. It's a challenge to stick with any one particular fit because speed is good in some places and regeneration in others. Anyone have some fitting advice? I usually manage around a 2 kdr with knives. |

I would love to use now knifes, but since the scout suit isn't amazing ATM, the only condition I would use them under is if I got a respec on my alt (4.5 mil SP) |

i have a 7 mil sp character invested in nothing but being a silent assassin. knives are my favorite thing aside from tanks and with the removal of most of the tacnet display scouts will be sneaky sneaky. you can tell the real knifers because they dont chase peeps with their knives charged and they put 10x the amount of effort into situational awareness than normal. seriously, just play a little more conservatively and PICK PROPER TARGETS and you will be god. unless you have proto knives......then who gives a ****, youll get the kill anyway.
also always knive a squad from the guy furthest in the back and work your way up. common sense, i know, but hey...
just wait till cloaks..... |

With hit detection currently borked pure knifing is hard work. Pack a secondary weapon like an SMG and/or some remote explosives to supplement your knives. I can attest they go well together and compliment the playstyle well. If you get seen or caught in a stab don't follow up with the knives instead switch to the SMG and shoot at them while running away, quickly go around a corner and plant a RE then wait for them and BOOM. |

If You get your respec don't get proto you need your modules first :) |
