As a sniper I'd like CCP to increase the rendering distance. I'm getting fed up with redberries disappearing in full view, turrets appear out of nowhere and enemies walking through boxes and walls.
I've heard this is because of the PS3's graphics engine: an increased rendering distance would be too much for it to handle. Now I'm no programmer, but I can imagine that adding additional graphics settings can cause lag and decreased performance.
But as it's already possible to in-/decrease some of the graphics details, would it be possible to increase the rendering distance when someone chooses to show less fancy graphics?
I'd rather have more than fancier headshots! |

I feel like that excuse is BS, because they show up in the Thale's scope. |

IGÇÖm no sniper but I heard about these problems a lot from my overwatch sniper buddies. IGÇÖve heard they also blend into buildings and walls, or the walls don't render but the player models do; meaning you're shooting at a wall.
I also get the turrets not rendering when on ground zero when looking at them into the distance yet I can see the blasts incoming towards me. |

I have the same problem as a sniper. I am hoping the next two updates will address the LOD issues. Were going to be getting new maps that will be larger so I am going to guess they address it???? |

If someone's in my range, in plain sight, I want to be able to see him. If I can see him, I want to be able to shoot him. |
