As any sniper could have observed, stars are represented by small transparent rectangles. Though decent through naked eyes, it is kind of silly through a rifle's scope. |

My exact point why I feel snipers have too much time on their hands and effectively do nothing all game. Stars?
You're looking at stars while your team fights? |

Frequent are the times when aiming upwards is needed in order to take out enemy troops positioned on higher ground. I counter-snipe a lot. |

That's the least of CP's worries. As a sniper I'd like them to increase the rendering distance.
I'm getting fed up with redberries disappearing in full view, turrets appear out of nowhere and enemies walking through boxes and walls. |

I also feel it's a drawback. It limits the action of snipers competent enought to shoot over 300 metres. I see a lot of enemy troops walking or running without moving their body. |

Before I get the usual inevitable and obnoxious hate posts accusing me of being a stationary redline sniper: I'm not. I don't always snipe, I try to help my team as much as possible so I switch between sniper/av/assault/sneaky-ass uplink, re, hacker scout usually several times a match.
Sniping is still my favourite just because of the skill involved when lining up and tracking your target or that feeling when you drop four enemies closing in on a friendly. However CCP has been seriously boning us since day one.
The real issues that need to be focused on are for snipers are: very glitchy/jumpy player models, no zoom adjusting capabilities, people randomly disappearing after a certain distance (especially on the map with objective A on the bridge, hear that CCP?) or disappearing into wall and stair textures and my least favourite: objects not appearing in front of a clearly visible player until after you have already dropped several bullets on them. |

Who cares about stars! All i want at some point in the future regarding graphics.....is for dust to have a similar look to splinter cell blacklist (especially on the airplane/headquarters). Blacklist runs on U3, so ccp should be able to pull it off. That being said, optimize graphics AFTER more important stuff. Gameplay first, graphics last. |
