Oh wait is this not Eve's red headed step child? Yeah more Evetards than FPS players I'm sure. So the game is fine right?
So anyone who can't afford GTA5 or a PS4 will be playing this, because most of you bought a pS3 only for Dust.
Have fun poor men.....Lol First off you provide no feasible evidence for your claim so anything you say is inadmissible in my eyes, with that said maybe we can turn this into a more constructive thread. - Let us talk about your first claim - "The way this game is built the only people who would enjoy it would be people who are new to FPS" - I don't think you have noticed that this game a serious learning curve to it. Some one new to FPSs would have a big trouble learning about all the ins and outs of the game such as racial suits (and how to approach difference races) , all the different modules and classes etc. So I believe your first point has been trumped. - Your second point - " how terrible this game is compared to the genre comparisons " - Correct me if I am wrong but I presume that you are talking about games such as CoD and battlefield 4. Well the thing about those games is that they have an insane amount of polish, meaning these games have SOLID ( notice not amazing but solid ) gameplay wrapped in a package that is shinier than the sun. These games are made to LOOK amazing and accessible in fact CoD and battlefield are one the easiest games to play on consoles right now. - " Were talking core gunplay" - No, we are not. Dust is a good shooter, it is just a different type of shooter. As CoD and battlefield take the fast paced approach to shooters Dust uses a tactical approach combining elements from halo and counter-strike into a pretty good package and to top it all off it is free. It might be useful to add that this game is not perfect (yes I am looking at you shotgun ) but since chromosome this game is far from broken.
I know most of are probably like TL:DR |

My PC > Any of your Current/"Next Gen" Garbage. Once most games support linux ill be there with you. But on a side note if people prefer to play on a console that does not make them any less of a gamer. In fact they are helping the industry more than pc gamers which in turn helps developers make more games. I believe I read a ign article that suggested that the piracy rate for games was something like 75%. This is why everyone should be excited for "next-gen" because it will help ease the shackles that most devs were working with when using current gen hardware (because that is where the money comes from ). |

For $400 it is a pretty damn good gaming PC. You really cannot beat that on price even if you build your own PC. It is 8 core, but it doesn't have a "monster" GPU; it has the equivalent to a 7870 , which is a mid-range card. If you're looking for a budget mid-range machine the PS4 is a pretty decent buy, that can't be denied. The only problem is the extremely limited game selection and lack of upgradability. That is true but it does rebound this fact with hUMA, which allows better allocations for memory and overall better optimizations. $400 for that type of hardware its a damn amazing gaming pc. |
